Spotlight on hotel security.
Thursday, 15th October 2009
Source : American Hotel & Lodging Association
Like every business in which the public is served, the lodging industry views guest and employee safety as a top priority.

Corporations, franchisors, and management companies all have strong and comprehensive guest security policies and procedures, as do individually-owned and operated properties.

While the American Hotel & Lodging Association (AH&LA) does not set security standards, it encourages lodging properties to continually evaluate existing security policies and practices as a precautionary measure.  The Educational Institute, a subsidiary of AH&LA, offers many resources for hoteliers, including the Spotlight on Security video.

Designed in conjunction with AH&LA Loss Prevention Committee, this 30-minute video and companion guide provide you with the BEST security practices now being used by the TOP loss prevention experts and executives throughout the hospitality industry, and provide the type of secure environment that guests are seeking and that today's marketplace demands.
