On its tour of Europe InterContinental Hotels Group has visited many countries, leaving behind a hotel or two in each as a lasting reminder of its visit.
But Ukraine has so far remained without that orange and red logo....until this week that is when IHG opened the 272-room InterContinental Kiev in the country's capital.
The hotel may not be alone for long, however, as rumours abound that IHG plans to open 15 hotels in Ukraine by 2029.
