Accor has entered into an agreement with Auckland International Airport and Tainui Group Holdings to jointly develop and operate a 260-key Novotel hotel at Auckland Airport.

Located within walking distance from both the international and domestic terminals, the hotel is likely to offer extensive meeting facilities and two food and beverage outlets as well as leisure amenities.

The hotel, which will be developed at a total cost of approximately US$43 million, is scheduled to commence operations in time for the Rugby World Cup in 2011.
