In July 2003, Dolce Norton Manor, the Hampshire based American style conference centre, will provide the setting for the venue-finding agent, Hotel Brokers to hold its AGM on board the 72ft BT Challenge Yacht.
The senior team at Hotel Brokers will realise they are guaranteed an AGM to remember as they sail into the Solent at 8am on a Saturday morning.
The AGM will be held on-board whilst sailing through Southampton waters to the Solent. Afterwards the team will have the opportunity to work together to sail this impressive yacht, best known for its involvement in the 2000/2001 BT Global Challenge Round the World Race.
At the end of the day, the group return to Dolce Norton Manor for an enjoyable evening and dinner, looking back on the day and planning the future goals of their company.
Mark Cooper, Director of Sales & Marketing at Dolce Norton Manor explains, "Venues are responsible for providing much more beyond the services and facilities. We are charged with the task of providing a memorable experience for the delegates to relate back to and remind them of the skills they learned. Traditional classroom teaching is often more effective when combined with practical outdoor learning and the Global Challenge Yacht is just one of the ways in which we deliver this."
As one of the U.K.'s leading venue finding agents Hotel Brokers are under added pressure when it comes to making certain their own internal events are a success. They turned to Dolce International, in the knowledge that Dolce's training centres have provided an excellent service to a large number of Hotel Brokers' clients over the years.
Des Mclaughlin, Hotel Brokers Managing Director commented, "We knew Dolce could provide us with the perfect solution. They have excellent meeting facilities, combined with beautiful surroundings that lend themselves well to team building activities. Using Dolce Norton Manor provides us with the opportunity to ensure that our Annual Meeting achieves its aim of mixing business with pleasure" |
