The Hua Ye Xiamen Hotel and ACCOR Asia Pacific Company announced today that, effective August 1st 2009, they have mutually agreed to discontinue using the Sofitel brand and related management services for the currently named Sofitel Plaza Xiamen.

ACCOR has managed the hotel under the Sofitel brand since July 2005 and in that time, has dedicated its efforts to offering guests unparalleled service. Both parties will continue to work alongside each other in Vietnam with Sofitel Plaza Saigon and Sofitel Plaza Hanoi.

The Hua Ye Xiamen Hotel will implement and reveal the new brand in due course.
