Ramesh Venkat, Senior Vice President, Yield Management, Emirates, UAE will be addressing the ‘Revenue Management Summit' in Dubai on 12 – 13 October 2008 at the JW Marriott Hotel, Dubai, UAE.

Venkat will deliver a crucial address at the summit on ‘Successfully Integrating Revenue Management Into An Organisation's Structure'.

Tarek El Sherif, Regional Director, Sales and marketing, believes "Revenue Management should not be limited to the job of a revenue manager, however, it should become a business life style for all employees from top to bottom. Although it has been created by airlines and later adopted by hotels, revenue management has been introduced to too many other industries such as cinemas and theatres, hospitals, restaurants and even retail shops, it became the logical choice to sell the right product to the right clients at the right price and at the right time."

Mr. El Sherif will speaking at the summit where he will be discussing how to ensure revenue management principles are implemented to all revenue management generating streams.

The summit has been developed by the Finance IQ division of International Quality & Productivity Center (IQPC), the global providers of tailored, industry-driven conferences. The expert panel of speakers are from high profile institutions both in the GCC and internationally. They will be addressing the most crucial topics that affect the industry.

Following the summit The American Academy of Financial Management (AAFM) will hold an exclusive two day certified workshop on Yield Management, Customer Behaviour Analysis And Revenue Optimisation – The Path To Profitability. This practical workshop has been specifically developed for the summit and will be led by Brett King, CEO, AAFM.
