Themed on the concept of environmental preservation and conservation -

Project I of the Ho Tram Strip will resemble a wildlife preserve, highlighting the lush natural beauty of the area while showcasing Vietnamese and Asian culture.

Nestled in this pristine and safe environment, will be two luxurious five star hotels with 2300 rooms and Vietnam's first Las Vegas-style casinos - featuring live entertainment stages and an exclusive VIP area to compliment gaming floors with more approximately 180 live table games and 2000 electronic games.

Envisioned as a premiere destination resort, Project I of the Ho Tram Strip will also provide guests with astonishing recreational options, an expansive and luxurious spa, state-of-the-art performance facilities, an engaging upscale retail experience and a wide selection of elegant dining facilities offering local and international cuisine.

Construction of Project 1 (Phase 1 and 2) - including the two five-star hotels, Vietnam's first Las Vegas-style casinos and the specially designed Greg Norman golf course – is scheduled to commence in the second half of 2008 and be completed by 2011.

The entire 169 hectares of the Ho Tram Strip, featuring five Las Vegas-style integrated resorts, is scheduled to be completely developed and operational within ten years.

The magnificent Ho Tram Beach and a breathtaking marina will allow guests to experience the beauty of the South China Sea right at their doorstep. Blending in seamlessly with the natural waters, the vast pool area will be surrounded on three sides with live marine habitat and natural lagoons.

Envisioned as a premiere destination resort, Phase I of the Ho Tram Strip is also expected to provide guests with astonishing recreational options, an expansive and luxurious spa, state-of-the-art performance facilities, an engaging upscale retail experience and a wide selection of elegant dining facilities offering local and international cuisine.

Designed by renowned Las Vegas architect Paul Steelman, Project 1 is being developed by Asian Coast Development (Canada) Ltd. (ACDL).

Asian Coast Development Ltd, a privately held Canadian-based luxury resort developer, has been awarded an investment certificate by the government of Vietnam that allows for the construction of the Ho Tram Strip.

The official investment certificate was presented to Asian Coast Development on May 23 by the Vietnam government at a ceremony in Ho Chi Minh City attended by Vietnamese government officials and Paul Steelman. The event was followed by a formal groundbreaking at the site.

"Vietnam is blessed with some of the most magnificent natural beauty in the world," said Michael Aymong, Chairman, Asian Coast Development Ltd. "We share the same vision and determination as our Vietnamese partners in ensuring that this development respects the lush natural beauty of the area while showcasing local culture. The Ho Tram Strip will set the standard as a premier luxury destination in this beautiful country."

Vietnam was identified as one of 53 "hot-spot" tourist destinations in 2008 by the New York Times, with golf cited as a main attraction for international visitors. According to the World Travel and Tourism Council, Vietnam has moved up to fourth from sixth place in its ranking of the world's fastest-growing destinations.

Last year it had 4.2 million foreign visitors, 16% more than in 2006. International visitors in the first four months of 2008 reached almost 1.7 million, 16% higher than in the same period in 2007.
