Novotel - a business hotel brand under Accor Group - was honored with 'Best Mid-range Hotel Brand in Greater China' in the first ever TTG China Travel Awards 2008, recently.

Winners of the Awards were voted by fellow trade professionals who are readers of TTG China, TTG-BTmice China, TTG Asia and TTGmice.

"It is an honor for Novotel to receive this award in the inaugural TTG China Travel Awards." said Robert Murray, Accor's Senior Vice President – Greater China, "I'd like to extend my appreciation to all TTG readers for voting us, as well as to all Novotel staff for their diligent efforts in upholding the good name of the brand."

The Novotel chain, dedicated to modernity, innovation, and services, are designed to give guests a "natural living" experience.

It offers business travelers a spacious, comfortable, and functional room at an affordable price, transforming a business trip into a leisure stay.

With new technologies, a relaxing setting and a sense of wellbeing, Novotel allows its guests to relax and recharge their batteries in a reassuring environment, and provides them the kind of comfort they get at home.

It is these characteristics which have distinguished the brand in the mid-range hotel market and contributed to the award in the TTG China Travel Awards 2008.

Their dedication to a high hospitality standard has further strengthened the hotel's position as a premium hotel brand in the mid-range market with a strong network." added Mr. Murray.
