Astudo, since opening in 2007, have established four resort properties in Thailand and is looking to expand their management services to 10 new hotels and resort in the coming 2 years.
Specifically the company is looking to manage hotels and resorts in all major tourist destinations in Thailand within the next few years.
The announcement was made by Anthony McDonald, Owner and Chief Executive Officer of Astudo Holdings and Klaus R. Rauter, Group General Manager.
Astudo Hotel & Resort Management intends to manage hotels and resorts mainly in Thailand but is also focusing on upcoming destinations such as Cambodia, Myanmar, Laos and Vietnam. Among management services, Astudo Hotel and Resort Management does also provide sales and marketing services, accounting, recruitment, risk management, food and beverage management, design and construction supervision, quality control and financial management.
"I'm very excited about being part of future management opportunities that will be available in the ever-expanding hospitality industry," Anthony said. He added "Astudo will focus on small and mid-sized properties with 30 to 100 rooms and full-service hotels in Thailand and Asia. We felt that a lot of local owners would like to have a professional management company, without the large overheads and demands of international chains. Being based in Thailand we can achieve excellent profitability for local resort owners, with flexible and personal service not offered be larger chains. Being a hotel owner as well we know what is important to the owner, and how best to achieve the owners' objectives."
Klaus said Astudo's core principles are centered on total transparency and honest dealings with all partners and staff, with a keen attention to professional detail and hard work. "We believe in the long term, and are committed to achieve the best possible results for all parties." Klaus has extensive hands-on management and hotel opening experience in Asia's hospitality industry.
