Readers of Travel + Leisure voted six Shangri-La luxury hotels to the 2008 `T+L 500.`
The list features 500 of the world's best hotels, as selected by subscribers and appears in the magazine's January 2008 issue.
Shangri-La's winning hotels are:
- Island Shangri-La, Hong Kong
- Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong
- Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai
- Shangri-La Hotel, Singapore
- Shangri-La Hotel, Bangkok
- Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza, Taipei
The "T+L 500" results are based upon the 2007 "World's Best Awards" survey in which Travel + Leisure subscribers evaluated hotels on five characteristics: rooms and facilities, location, service, restaurants and food, and value.
The publication calculated the average rating of each characteristic and tabulated each property's overall score.
