For the fast casual and casual dining restaurant sectors of industry, a new IT solution has been designed -

It is able to combine even more functions for call centers and web ordering facilities.

Exit41, Inc., the next generation ordering solutions company serving the restaurant industry, today announced the next release of OrderPerfect(TM). Version 2.0 is Exit41's flexible, multi-channel ordering solution, which can be customized to meet the specific ordering needs for quick serve, fast casual and casual dining restaurants.

OrderPerfect 2.0 broadens Exit41's current drive-thru solution, in which order taking is centralized in an off-site call center, to support additional customer ordering channels, including call ahead; text message; IVR; and Web ordering for pick up, curbside and delivery services.

"More and more consumers either do not have time to cook for themselves or simply do not want to, and there's a tremendous opportunity for restaurants to capitalize on this trend," said Joseph Gagnon, CEO of Exit41.

"The challenge for the restaurant is connecting their food with the consumer, wherever the consumer may be. OrderPerfect 2.0 bridges that gap, enabling restaurants to serve more customers better, faster and in more ways than they previously could have."

OrderPerfect extends the restaurant operation with an off-site call center staffed with expert order takers, allowing the restaurant to focus on serving in-store customers and preparing food.

The solution is based on a centralized ordering platform that unifies order and customer identification data across all ordering channels and seamlessly integrates with the restaurant's existing technology environment, including point of sale systems, to ensure the right order gets to the right customer at the right time, whether it's delivery, pick up, curbside or drive-thru.

Exit41's OrderPerfect 2.0 enables restaurants to:

  • Expand ordering channels to reach as many customers as possible resulting in increased sales
  • Consistently up-sell across all ordering channels to increase check size
  • Deliver a convenient, efficient, memorable customer experience that builds loyalty and increases the lifetime value of the customer
Cara Operations Limited, Canada's largest operator of full service restaurants, will be leveraging the OrderPerfect 2.0 solution for its current call center and web site, which processes take out and delivery orders for its 190 Swiss Chalet restaurants. The OrderPerfect 2.0 solution will integrate directly with Swiss Chalet's point of sale system from MICROS Systems, Inc.

"We created our call center and web site for the convenience of our customers and our restaurant operators, and it's fundamental in supporting our guest service obsessed culture," said Armando Viegas, Director, Cara Call Centre. "We are committed to investing in best-in-class systems and consider

Exit41 as a strategic partner in expanding our ordering opportunities to grow our business across Cara's diverse restaurant concepts."

In addition to launching a new brand identity and tagline reflecting its value proposition, "the shortest route between hunger and satisfaction," Exit41 will be previewing OrderPerfect 2.0 at the FS/TEC Conference in Atlanta, Ga. on October 10 -13 in booth #3718. Exit41 will also be joining its point of sale partners MICROS Systems in booth #3005 and XPIENT Solutions in booth #3107.
