Wyndham spices up F&B.

In a move to further differentiate itself from the competition, Wyndham recently introduced enhanced breakfast and dinner menus -

The new Fields & Sun breakfast features fresh, seasonal ingredients, creative food presentation and a focus on a personalized guest experience.  Wyndham® guests may order Bear Naked® granola, organic hot cereal and croissants and muffins, baked daily.  The menu includes no fewer than eight fruit selections, depending on the season, poached eggs and cooked-to-order omelets created with a choice of gourmet meats, cheeses and vegetables, which replace buffet-style scrambled eggs.

Each guest is presented with a complimentary smoothie sample before ordering.  A different smoothie flavor is featured each day of the week.

"We believe personalization should extend from the guest room to the dining room," said Fernando Salazar, Wyndham vice president, food and beverage.  "The Wyndham Fields & Sun breakfast program offers guests more options and higher-quality ingredients for a fresh start to their day."

In a France-meets-America twist, Wyndham chefs and the French Bordeaux trade group Counseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux also created a seasonal menu of four Bordeaux varietals to complement a new all-American Wyndham Burger.  Guests at participating Wyndham properties may choose three two-ounce Bordeaux tastings along with an appetizer of mini-Wyndham Burgers or an individual Bordeaux varietal by the glass with a full-size Wyndham Burger.

The Wyndham Burger is an original adaption of the quintessential patty flipped on backyard grills across America.  The half-pound, 100 percent Black Angus beef burger includes a unique spice recipe that gives it a robust and zesty flavor.  It is topped with white cheddar cheese, shredded lettuce, tomatoes, red onions and served on a toasted cross bun.

"We've reinvented the classic hamburger and paired it with something unexpected," Salazar said.  "In keeping with our casual yet upscale guest experience, this special summer menu gives both wine amateurs and enthusiasts the opportunity to discover the complex taste of Bordeaux wines in a fun way by pairing them with our signature burger and fries."

To help guests select the wine that best will suit their individual tastes, Wyndham restaurant staff learned the tasting notes and nuances of the Bordeaux varietals from wine educators certified by the Counseil Interprofessionnel du Vin de Bordeaux.

Both the Fields & Sun breakfast and the Bordeaux and Burger menu were developed to differentiate the brand from competitors, enhance guest satisfaction and stimulate food and beverage revenue growth," Salazar said.  "Many Wyndham owners have expressed their support of these programs and enjoy providing their guests with a unique dining experience."
