Nicky Hilton won't be arriving in Chicago after all.

The Printers Row hotel project, that was supposed to bear Ms. Hilton's name and mark her debut into the lodging industry has been dropped, according to a spokesman for Robert Falor, who was developing the Nicky O Chicago hotel with Ms. Hilton.

Ms. Hilton had lent her name to the project, which called for a conversion of the Hotel Blake at 500 S. Dearborn St. into a Nicky O hotel. A Nicky O (her middle name is Olivia) condo hotel was also in development in Miami's South Beach, but that deal has been dropped as well, the spokesman said.

Neither Ms. Hilton nor a representative for her was available for comment.
