The World's 50 Best Restaurants first published in 2002 and now in its fifth year, was announced at the World's 50 Best Restaurants Awards on April 10, held at the Science Museum, London SW7.
This year, the list was compiled in a new way: the world was divided into 20 voting regions, each of which was headed by an appointed Chairperson who selected a voting panel for their respective region.
Collectively, the 20 regional Chairs form The World's 50 Best Restaurants Academy.
