Accor further strengthening its midscale presence in Thailand, the new-build hotel, developed in partnership with Pipatanasin, is scheduled to open in the final quarter of 2027.

Strategically located within Future City Rangsit, a landmark mixed-use development covering more than 550 rai, the hotel will benefit from excellent connectivity to Don Mueang International Airport and several major industrial parks.

Serving as Bangkok's northern gateway, Future City provides convenient links to surrounding provinces and key economic corridors. Guests will also enjoy direct access to shopping mall, lifestyle retail centre, a modern sports complex, a full-service medical centre, and premium office spaces within the integrated development.

Featuring 236 rooms, the hotel will embody Mercure's locally inspired aesthetic, drawing on the character and energy of Rangsit. Guests can look forward to discovering the area's unique rhythm through thoughtful design details and intuitive comfort.

Facilities include three restaurants and 1,855 square metres of meeting space, all located on the ground floor and seamlessly connected to the adjacent Novotel Future Park Rangsit. Together, the two hotels will form a comprehensive hospitality hub that caters to both business and leisure travellers, offering diverse options for dining, events, and stays.

This signing underscores the growing demand for internationally recognised hospitality in Greater Bangkok, reinforcing Accor's leadership position in Thailand. With more than 1,000 Mercure hotels across 70 countries and over 210 hotels in the pipeline, Mercure continues to expand its reputation as a trusted global brand offering locally inspired experiences that connect guests with the essence of each destination.

Andrew Langdon, Accor's Chief Development Officer, Asia, commented: “Rangsit is fast emerging as Bangkok's Northern gateway, driven by thriving residential communities, major industrial parks, and excellent connectivity. Mercure Bangkok Future Park Rangsit will meet growing demand for quality meeting spaces, dining options, and accommodation at accessible price points. By combining international standards with the character of the local neighbourhood, this hotel will strengthen the area's hospitality offering and serve as a trusted base for both business and leisure guests. This marks our third collaboration with Pipatanasin Co., Ltd, following the success of Novotel Future Park Rangsit, which has already established itself as a leader in meetings and food and beverage, and the soon-to-open Navera Phuket Surin – MGallery.”

Kaet Wanglee, Director, Pipatanasin Co., Ltd., commented: “We are delighted to join forces with Accor once again to bring a new hotel to Future City Rangsit. The development of Mercure Bangkok Future Park Rangsit is part of our broader vision to unlock the area's full potential and capitalise on its growing demand for quality hospitality, meetings, and dining experiences. The hotel will become a key destination for both business and leisure travellers, offering guests more choice and convenience in this dynamic location. We are confident that Mercure Bangkok Future Park Rangsit will quickly become a preferred choice in the market, and we look forward to delivering an exceptional hospitality experience when it opens in 2027.”

Accor is the largest international hotel operator in Thailand with a current portfolio of 82 hotels, spanning more than 18,000 keys. The Group has a strong development pipeline, with 26 additional hotels (4,500+ rooms) set to open in the coming years.
