IDeaS announced that Novotel Bali Nusa Dua has implemented the IDeaS G3 Revenue Management System (RMS) to enhance its commercial approach and streamline hotel operations.

Since going live, the property has reported a 9% boost in Average Daily Rate (ADR) and a 15% uplift in room revenue.

Novotel Bali Nusa Dua is a 4-star resort offering spacious suites with kitchenettes, a kids’ club, lagoon-style pool, and private beach club access, making it a go-to for families and long-stay guests. But in Bali’s highly competitive hospitality market, staying ahead required more than exceptional amenities. As a result, Novotel Bali Nusa Dua turned to IDeaS G3 Revenue Management System (RMS) to modernise its revenue strategy and improve operational efficiency.

“Before G3 RMS, we relied heavily on manual pricing and historical data,” said Rania Septiani, Revenue Manager at Novotel Bali Nusa Dua. “This limited our ability to respond to real-time market changes and made optimising rates by room type a challenge.”

Since implementing IDeaS G3 RMS in August 2024, the resort has transformed its revenue strategy. Daily pricing recommendations, demand forecasts, room type pricing guidance, and group evaluation tools help guide their decisions, allowing the team to act faster and with greater precision.

“It allows us to make faster and more accurate decisions,” Septiani explained. “In a dynamic market like Bali, prices need frequent adjustment based on demand shifts and market changes. The system helps ensure that our pricing is consistently supported by data-driven recommendations.”

Beyond functionality, G3 RMS’s ease of use and the responsive support from IDeaS have been key to its success. “The support from IDeaS has been excellent. Their team is responsive, knowledgeable, and always ready to assist. Whether it’s training, troubleshooting, or system optimisation, they provide professional guidance and timely responses,” said Septiani.

The shared visibility into demand trends and forecasts has also improved cross-department collaboration. Sales, marketing, and operations now align around a common set of data, helping build stronger, more integrated strategies.

The impact of G3 RMS has been both immediate and measurable. Novotel Bali Nusa Dua has reported a 9% boost in Average Daily Rate (ADR) and a 15% increase in room revenue compared to the same period the previous year. These gains go beyond numbers. The hotel now operates with a more proactive, analytical mindset, one where decisions are supported by data rather than assumptions.

“One key non-financial benefit is improved collaboration,” Septiani noted. “With clear data and forecasts, we can better align with sales, marketing, and operations. The system encourages a more analytical and proactive mindset in managing revenue.”

With IDeaS G3 RMS, Novotel Bali Nusa Dua has not only enhanced its revenue management capabilities, but it has also empowered its team to work smarter, faster, and more strategically in Bali’s competitive hospitality landscape.
