Fairmont Hotels & Resorts, in partnership with Xiamen Airlines, proudly announces the opening of Fairmont Xiamen in Fujian Province, China.

As part of the Xiamen Airlines headquarters complex in the Xiamen Cross-Strait Financial Center, Fairmont Xiamen is designed as a 33-story tower with a gleaming peak, standing amid the majestic rocky peaks of the Wuyi Mountains that tower over the city’s landscape. At this nexus of commerce and nature, Fairmont Xiamen brings an extraordinary luxury hospitality experience that is globally-minded, while deeply rooted in the local Minnan culture.

Harmony of nature and urban life

Fairmont Xiamen is a masterpiece of contemporary design, achieved through the collaboration of several global design teams. The overall project was led by FOSTER + PARTNERS, a globally-recognized architecture firm founded by Norman Foster, a Pritzker Architecture Prize laureate. The hotel’s interior design was created by Hong Kong based design firm Cheng & Chung Design (CCD), while a lush outdoor landscape, created by the American SWA Group, further celebrates the coexistence of nature and urban life.

Inside, 420 luxurious guestrooms and suites are designed with glamorous elements of Old Hollywood Art Deco and infused with the serene colors of the coast and the charm of Nanyang features. Panoramic windows provide guests with unsurpassed views of the city and the sea beyond.
