HSMAI partners with Online Revealed.

HSMAI to produce the Online Advertising and Distribution educational online travel tracks, for the Canadian online tourism marketing conference in association with the Canadian Tourism Commission.

As the travel industry's foremost resource for identifying and communicating trends in the hospitality, travel and hospitality, and sales and marketing management disciplines, HSMAI will produce two of the six educational online travel tracks taking place on day two of the conference.

"HSMAI has special interest groups who focus on revenue management and internet marketing, and we are proud to be a part of the first online travel conference in Canada to make a contribution in educating sales and marketing professionals about these important topics," said Bob Gilbert, president and CEO of HSMAI.

The Revealed Online Travel Tracks include;  Online Advertising and Online Distribution and Revenue Management/ Distribution track, both produced by HSMAI,  Customer Relationship Management, Web Applications and Marketing Canada Globally, produced by the Canadian Tourism Commission, and Website Management presented by conference co-chair, A Couple of Chicks e-Marketing.

"We are excited to have HSMAI take part in the Online Revealed Canada conference to produce two of our educational tracks," says Jens Thraenhart, CTC's Executive Director of E-Marketing and CRM Online Revealed Canada and Conference Co-Chair, and also Chair of HSMAI's Travel Internet Marketing Organization, and a member of the Americas and Global Board of Directors.  "We wanted to incorporate the expertise that HSMAI has in these two areas to educate the Canadian Travel industry through interactive and unique sessions."

The First annual Online Revealed Canada Conference will take place this May 16-17th in Ottawa at the Brookstreet Resort.  The event will bring together industry experts to discuss Online Tourism Marketing, and what it means to the Canadian Tourism industry.

The conference is a forum with a uniquely Canadian approach to the ever-changing online marketplace and what it means to hospitality suppliers, vendors, hotel groups, individual hotels, tourism operators, travel intermediaries, agencies and other Canadian Travel Professionals.  Key presentations include speakers from Google, Air Canada, The Intercontinental Hotel Group, Travel Quebec and eMarketer and more.

HSMAI is an international organization of sales and marketing professionals representing all segments of the hospitality industry.
