The resort market has shown great resilience in trading through the past crisis and continues to do so despite labour and economic headwinds.
The sustainability of this trend for the seasons ahead will largely depend on fluctuations in disposable income and further upgrade of the product, which is key for future rate growth.
In the past 12 months, we have observed a more diversified type of capital going into resorts than ever before, including investors with a long-term perspective and hold period, which can be interpreted as a sign of confidence and shift in the perception of this asset class.
