Shangri-La was recently voted "Best Hotel Brand in China" at the Business Traveller China Awards, at China World Hotel in Beijing. 

The group's China World Hotel, Beijing; Shangri-La Hotel, Changchun; Shangri-La Hotel, Dalian; and Shangri-La Hotel, Hangzhou also garnered honours, each winning "Best Business Hotel" in their respective cities for the quality of their facilities and exemplary service.

The awards are the result of the first reader's poll conducted by the publication since its China launch in 2002.

Business Traveller China is the Chinese edition of Business Traveller magazine which has eight editions in Germany, Hungary, Middle East, Spain, UK, US,  Asia Pacific and China. 

"It is indeed an honour to be acknowledged as China's best and, with the continued hard work and dedication of more than 10,000 Shangri-La staff at our 20 hotels in mainland China, we will continue to do our utmost to exceed our customers' expectations," said Sunny Paw, Shangri-La's vice president sales and marketing, China, who accepted the award on behalf of the group.
