Further significant milestones in Rotana Hotels' enviable history of service, gaining further recognition of their commitment to quality customer care during recent award ceremonies held in Dubai that promotes excellence in the hospitality and tourism industry.

Rotana Hotels packed a total of 13 awards and 8 nominations during the prestigious What's On awards, DEPA awards, MENA awards and Business Traveller ME awards. Commenting on these achievements Mr. Imad Elias Chief Operating Officer for Rotana Hotels said: "These awards stand testimony to the dedication, enthusiasm and sheer professionalism that our entire team show towards their work and the hospitality industry in this region". "Expectations change and Rotana is constantly working to meet – and exceed – those expectations, in the quest for happy and satisfied customers," says Mr. Elias.

During the What's On awards, Towers Rotana Hotel won the "Favourite Bar" for the famous Long's Bar and the Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers won the "Favourite American Specialty" for Rodeo Grill, the "Favourite International Specialty" for Trader Vic's and the "GM's Recommendation" for Finz the Global Seafood restaurant.

Always sensitive to the requirements of the local market, Rotana Hotels successfully delivers first class food and beverage environments with a difference. Rotana Hotels outlets deliver sensory appeal and entertainment with originality every time. "Attention to detail is so very important at all times, and sustained levels of service delivery which helps to bring customers back," says Mr. Elias.

The Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers was highlighted during the Business Traveller Middle East award ceremony and won the "Best Business Hotel in Abu Dhabi". The Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers' $86 million expansion and refit completed in October 2002, allowed the hotel to be designed with the business executive in mind, while also offering all the facilities of a city conference resort hotel, including a stretch of pristine beach. Commenting on this achievement Mr. Omer Kaddouri, Director of Operations Abu Dhabi & Al Ain and General Manager of the Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers said: "The Beach Rotana Hotel & Tower's has striven for excellence at every level of its operations and set the highest standards in meeting the needs of it varied guests and customers".

During the DEPA Award gala ceremony, the Towers Rotana Hotel won the "Energy Conservation and Environmental Awareness Award". Mr. Freddy Farid the General Manager of the Hotel said:" Since the inception of the Towers Rotana Hotel we have been doing an exceptional effort into the implementation of the environmental issues within the hotel. We are very proud to have achieved this task and will continue towards improving further".

Rotana Hotels was the highlight of the MENA award ceremony with 7 awards won out of which 5 were platinum and 2 gold awards. The Best 4-star Business, Corporate Hotel went to the Towers Rotana Hotel (Platinum) and the Jumeirah Rotana Hotel Dubai (Gold). The Best Conference / Convention Hotel went to the Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers (Platinum) and the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel (Gold). The Best Environmental 4-star Hotel was won by the Towers Rotana Hotel (Platinum). The award for the Best Price Value Hotel was won by the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel (Platinum) and finally the Best 5-star Business / Corporate Hotel was again won by the Al Bustan Rotana Hotel (Platinum).

Mr. Imad Elias commented: "With thousands of votes, these awards have become one of the most important awards in the travel industry and we feel very honored to be part of them". Mr. Elias continued: "Naturally we are delighted that our efforts have been recognised and it certainly gives us added momentum for the coming months in terms of our planned expansion and new hotel openings."
