Choice Hotels Joins HotelRooms.com

Continuing to expand its membership base of hotels, motels, and resorts, HotelRooms.com announced that Choice Hotels International is the latest hotel partner of the global, one-stop, hotel search engine and super site.

The partnership provides a distribution channel for each of Choice Hotels' brands, which include Comfort Inn, Comfort Suites, Quality, Clarion, Sleep Inn, MainStay Suites, Econo Lodge, and Rodeway Inn. By linking to each property's own page on the Choice Hotels website to generate bookings, this arrangement allows each hotel to have complete control over pricing and promotion of discounts, without the hassle of managing separate inventory, allotments or commissions.

"The Choice website is one of the largest hotel sites in the world, and it is a great asset to our hotel database. Our goal is to provide the most thorough dataset of property information to hotel-seekers worldwide, while giving them access to competitive room rates. By connecting directly to each hotel's webpage, the HotelRooms.com user knows that the price of their hotel room has not been inflated by the typical fees and commissions associated with third-party reservation sites."

In addition, HotelRooms.com users can take advantage of the "Best Choice e-Rate Guarantee" which offers a 10% discount to anyone who finds a lower rate for the same room and date from any other online source.

Unlike other more limited travel websites, which provide access to directory-style, filtered hotel information, a search on HotelRooms.com, the Official Hotel Search Engine, results in a list of dynamic links which connects the user directly to each hotel's own website. Searches can be made in luxury, budget, corporate, boutique, resort, motels, extended stay as well as other hotel categories.

HotelRooms.com is one of the very few worldwide travel portals that has not migrated to either a wholesaler, wholesaler affiliate, or a "Pay Per Click" model. Rather, for a fixed monthly fee they simply feed targeted web traffic directly into hotel property websites via hyperlinks.
