For the first time ever, a Hong Kong-based airline offered a wedding ceremony – in the sky!
The choice of today, dated 14-05-20 for the wedding is particularly important, as the date 'May 20' is homophonic with 'I love you forever' in Mandarin. It is definitely a meaningful date to give the couple a lasting memory.
Witnessed by 12 relatives, Dan Su, the bride, and, Kobe Tsang, the bridegroom exchanged rings and made their vows not long after take-off from Hong Kong.

"We never thought of having our wedding ceremony high up in the sky," said Dan, adding, "Every girl dreams of having a truly unique wedding, but I never believed Kobe could be so romantic."
Kobe participated in the Skyway to Love competition organized by HK Express in February.
He successfully gained more "Likes" for his entry than any other contestant, with thousands of Facebook users showing their support.
Kobe spent more than six months working on his proposal to Dan, which came while the couple was watching a movie in a chartered cinema.
To Dan's pleasant surprise, a specially-made video appeared on the screen, in which Kobe expressed his love and asked Dan to marry him!
Winning the Skyway to Love competition treated Dan and Kobe to more than just an in-flight wedding ceremony.
As part of the prize, HK Express also included a complimentary wedding photography service, bride and groom outfits, bridal make-up and styling service, plus a wedding dinner reception and three nights stay at Paresa Resort Phuket, giving the couple a lasting memory.
