Fashion Hotel will open in 2017, next opening in Dubai in 2014 -

Once the first fashion branded hotel of the world, the Palazzo Versace located at the Gold Coast in Australia became a talking point through its pomp and swank.

In Dubai currently arises another large hotel project by the world famous designer Versace – according to the guidelines of the property.

According to TOPHOTELPROJECTS, the worldwide leading provider of global b2b hotel data, the opening is scheduled for summer 2014. At the latest landmark project in Macau, another Palazzo Versace hotel palace, for the first time the guidelines will be adapted to the regional Chinese taste.

The Casino Resort with 700 gambling tables in the Asian Gambling City will maintain the exterior neoclassical style, which is typical for the Palazzo Versace, but chief designer Donatella Versace will adapt the interior design especially the colors and details to the Chinese culture. How far the designs will be different to the normal guidelines is still a secret.

The new large hotel project arises at the prime location at the Cotai Strip in Macao and it will cost approximately 320 million US dollar. Opening is scheduled by 2017.

The investor is SJM Holdings.  The Palazzo Versace with 270 rooms is just one hotel at the resort complex with 2,000 rooms. The Palazzo Versace will be the lighthouse project at the ambitious construction site and it will feature its own pools, restaurants and of course fashion shops.

Every year Macao is a destination for 28 million guests and with annual gambling revenue of 38 billion US dollar Macao overtops Las Vegas six times. At the Cotai Strip further several large hotel and casino projects are in the pipeline, thereof projects by Las Vegas Sands, Wynn Resorts and MGM Resorts.
