The trivago Reputation Ranking classifies destinations according to the reputation of their hotels.
The reputation percentage is calculated from hotel ratings and reviews aggregated from over 140 booking sites. Included in the list of 100 global destinations are metropolitan cities with at least 135 hotels and 60 reviews on trivago.
Germany's Dresden is ranked number one on the global reputation list. Dresden's hotels have received the highest ratings and most positive reviews amongst guests. Interestingly, London is at the bottom of the list of 100 – hotels here have not been reviewed so favourably by guests.
Also high on the list are Hanoi in Vietnam, Tokyo in Japan, Chicago in the USA and Krakow in Poland. Capital cities have not fared so well – Brussels, Amsterdam, Paris and Copenhagen are all in the bottom ten.
