At this year’s ITB Berlin Israel will be attracting visitors with market stands, a Happy Hour and a prize competition.
At ITB Berlin 2018 Israel’s ministry of tourism will be making the desert its main theme on the stand. Thus, a small market display on the stand in Hall 4.2 will be featuring desert products such as dates and camel milk soap from the fascinating Negev region.
At a Happy Hour on Thursday, 8 March, starting at 4 p.m., the desert will again be the main theme. There will be beer, wine and snacks from Israel, as well as a lecture on the desert.
Trade visitors and the public can take part in a prize competition and win a trip to the desert, including a flight and three overnights for two.
Visitors to the stand can also let a cartoonist draw their portrait, delve into the world of 360-degree films with VR goggles, and take a virtual cycle ride on the first stages of the Giro d’Italia.
This year, for the first time, the first stage of this famous road race will not be in Europe, but in the Holy Land instead.
