The Las Vegas Sands has named George Markantonis President, taking over from John Caparella. Markantonis was most recently with the Atlantis resort in the Bahamas as President and Managing Director. He is the former Senior Vice President of Hotel Operations at Caesars Palace.

Michael Mestraud has been promoted to General Manager and joined the Four Seasons Jackson Hole, taking over from David Bernand. The Lausanne graduate was most recently the Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Biltmore Santa Barbara. He is the former Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Bora Bora.

Paul Telford has been promoted to Managing Director at Rosewood Tucker’s Point in Bermuda. He was most recently serving as Resort Manager. He is the former Spa Director at the Kahala and the Four Seasons Punta Mita.

Alex Furrer has been promoted to General Manager at the Setai Miami, taking over from Guenter Richter. Furrer was most recently serving as Resident Manager.

Michael Nenner has joined Montauk Gurney’s Inn as General Manager. He was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Houston. Nenner is the former Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Philadelphia and the Four Seasons St. Louis.

Luca Rutigliano has been promoted to Managing Director at Rosewood CordeValle. Since 2012, he had been serving as Resort Manager after joining the property as Executive Chef.

Adam Sydenham has returned to Beverly Hills to take on the role of General Manager at the Luxe Rodeo Drive Hotel. He was most recently with the Four Seasons Moscow as Director of Rooms. Before Moscow he had spent two years in rooms management positions at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.

Philip Bucher has been named Chief Executive Officer for the Jumby Bay Island Company. He was most recently the Resident Manager and Director Food and Beverage for Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic.

Mark Van Cooney has moved as General Manager to the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley. For the past three years, he had been overseeing the Palomar San Diego. He is the former General Manager at the Hotel Murano in Tacoma and the Sheraton Delfina in Los Angeles.

Dominie Lenz has returned to Furnace Creek Inn & Resort as General Manager. She is the former General Manager at Cavallo Point Lodge after serving as Regional General Manager for Xanterra Park & Resorts.

John Volponi has been named General Manager of VieVage Los Cabos slated to open in summer 2016. He had previously served as General Manager of the former Capella Pedregal Resort, Cabo San Lucas. Volponi was also the General Manager at the former Capella Telluride and the Belmond Inn at Perry Cabin.

Thomas Jencks has joined the JRK Hotel Group in Los Angeles as Vice President. For the past two years, he had been West Coast Director for Hersha Hospitality Trust.

Dene Nui has been named General Manager for the Hyatt Palm Springs. Nui was most recently the General Manager at the Thompson Beverly Hills.

Olivier Servat has joined the Melia Hotel Miami as General Manager. He is the former General Manager at the W Washington, D.C. and the W Paris-Opera.

Philip Spee has moved to the Redbury as General Manager. He was most recently serving as Director of Operations-Restaurants for SBE Entertainment. Spee had previously served as Director of Food and Beverage at the SLS Los Angeles and Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Hotel Bel-Air.

Julian Smaldoni has been named General Manager at the Thompson Playa del Carmen. He was previously overseeing Unico Resorts & Residences.

Jon Lucas has been promoted to Executive Vice President of Hotel and Casino Operations for Hard Rock International. He was most recently with the Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park as President.

The Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park has promoted Cornell hotelman Mark Birtha to President, taking over from Jon Lucas. Birtha was most recently the Rocksino’s Senior Vice President and General Manager.

Rob Andrews has joined Commune Hotels + Resorts in New York as Area Managing Director. He was most recently serving as Director of Operations for Kimpton NYC.

Niels Vuijsters has been named General Manager at the Hotel Palomar Phoenix. He was previously a Director of Food and Beverage with Kimpton Hotels. Vuijsters is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Mandarin-Oriental Boston and the Langham Boston.

Jeremy Wilhide has joined the Cypress in Cupertino as General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager at the Hotel Goleta. He is the former Director of Rooms at the Canary Hotel in Santa Barbara and Assistant General Manager at the Saguaro in Scottsdale.

The Pyramid Hotel Group has named Timothy Wolfe General Manager at the Revere Hotel Boston Common. He was most recently serving as Area Managing Director for Pyramid.

Paul Toner has been named General Manager at the JW Marriott San Francisco Union Square. He was most recently overseeing the JW Marriott Ihilani Resort & Spa at Ko Olina. Toner had previously served as Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of RockResorts and Vail Resorts Hospitality.

Jim Biggar has been appointed to the newly created position of President at Sixty Hotels in New York. Most recently, he spent the last three years as Executive Vice President, North America, for Interstate Hotels and Resorts.

Larry McAfee has been appointed General Manager at the Lodge of Four Seasons in Lake of the Ozarks. He was most recently the General Manager of the Warwick Melrose Hotel in Dallas.

Shahram Khan has been named General Manager at the Monaco Baltimore. He was most recently the Director of Rooms at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio.

David Gauna has been appointed General Manager at the CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort and Spa. He is the former General Manager for the Courtyard by Marriott Mexico City Airport and Director of Operations at the JW Marriott Mexico City.

Brett Schoenfield has been appointed General Manager at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort. For the past five years, he had been with the Vail Cascade Resort as General Manager. He had previously overseen the Riviera Resort & Spa in Palms Springs and spent 12 years at the Homestead Resort.

Michael Swasey has been named Area Vice President at Marcus Hotels & Resorts. He was most recently Vice President of Hotel Operations for Alena Hospitality.

Scott Gold has joined Plaza La Reina in Los Angeles as General Manager. He was most recently overseeing the Hotel Erwin in Venice Beach.

Monica Neumann has joined the Mayflower Grace as General Manager. She is the former General Manager of the Regent Palms Turks and Caicos.

Albert Mertz is now in the Dominican Republic as General Manager at the Aman Playa Grande slated to open in November. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at Fisher Island in Florida. Mertz is the former General Manager at the SLS South Beach.

Roger Belleti has been named General Manager at Tortuga Bay, Punta Cana Resort & Club. He was most recently the General Manager at the Punta Molino Beach Resort & Spa.

Mark Huntley has been named Regional Vice President and General Manager at the Swissôtel Chicago. Most recently, Huntley was the Regional Vice President and General Manager at the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park. He is the former General Manager of the Fairmont San Francisco and the Savoy London.

The Fairmont Mayakoba has named Dennis Clark General Manager, taking over from Ian Robinson. For the past eleven years, Clark had been at the Fairmont Olympic Hotel Seattle as General Manager.

Christopher Werth has been named Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Boston. He was most recently in the same position at the Four Seasons Silicon Valley.

The Four Seasons Palo Alto has named Mark Bingle Hotel Manager. He was most recently with the Four Seasons Carmelo as Resort Manager. Bingle was previously with the Four Seasons Costa Rica as Director of Residences.

Arif Kor has been named Hotel Manager at the Mandarin Oriental Atlanta. He was most recently with the Sydney Harbour Marriott as Director of Operations.

Tabish Siddiquie has joined the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco as Hotel Manager. Siddiquie was most recently in Kazakhstan as Director of Operations for the Ritz-Carlton Almaty. He had previously overseen food and beverage for the Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi and the Ritz-Carlton Sarasota.

John Sullivan has moved to Miami as Hotel Manager at the Edition. He was most recently Director of Operations/Hotel Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Boston Common. Sullivan is the former Director of Food and Beverage for the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey and the Ritz-Carlton Phoenix.

Carlos Bueno has been appointed Hotel Manager at the Fairmont Copley Plaza. He was most recently the Director of Operations at the Boston Harbor Hotel. Bueno is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Fairmont Vancouver.

Jarnetta Manna has been appointed Director of Operations at the Axiom Hotel in San Francisco slated to open this fall. She is the former Hotel Manager at the Embassy Suites Baltimore Inner Harbor and the Inn at Perry Cabin.

Alan Baer has joined Standard Hotels as Chief Financial Officer. He was most recently in the same role for Richfield Hospitality. Baer is the former Chief Financial Officer of MetWest Terra Hospitality and Senior Vice President, Finance, for HRI Lodging.

Bryan Ruch has moved to the Four Seasons San Francisco as Director of Finance. He was most recently in the same position for the Four Seasons Atlanta. Ruch is the former Assistant Director of Finance at the Four Seasons Denver and Chief Accountant with the Four Seasons The Biltmore Santa Barbara.

Jeff Michie has been promoted to Senior Vice President of Operations and Finance at the Hard Rock Rocksino Northfield Park. He was most recently serving the resort as Vice President of Finance. Michie is the former Executive Director of Finance at Rising Star Casino.

Mohana Khaled has been named Area Director of Finance for the Baccarat Hotel and 1 Central Park. Khaled was most recently the Director of Finance for the Windsor Court, New Orleans.

Jose Luis Flores is now in Cabo San Lucas as Director of Finance at the Resort at Pedregal. He was most recently in the same position with the Viceroy Anguilla. He had previously served in Controller positions with the Donovan House and the Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C.

Phing Thong has been appointed Director of Finance at the InterContinental San Francisco. He was previously the Director of Finance at the Four Seasons San Francisco and the Claremont Resort & Spa.

Mazen Saleh has been promoted to Director of Food and Beverage and joined the Four Seasons Palm Beach. He was most recently with the Four Seasons Austin as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage.

Lukus Grace has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the St. Regis Atlanta. He was most recently with the corporate food and beverage task force for the Capella Hotel Group in Atlanta. Grace is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Capella Singapore.

Mac McNally has been named Director of Food and Beverage at the FireSky Resort & Spa. He was most recently the Director of Restaurants and Bars at the Sheraton Wild Horse Pass.

Kevin O’Brien has returned to the Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort, Spa and Casino to take on the role of Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served the resort as Assistant Food and Beverage Director before taking on his most recent position as Director of Food and Beverage for the Andaz San Diego.

Lija Manevski has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the Hotel Zamora in Florida. He is the former Wine Director at the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island.

Chris Cline has joined the Hotel Palomar Phoenix as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently with The Boulders in a similar position.

Kerem Kendigelen has been named Director of Food and Beverage at the Ritz-Carlton San Juan. For the past two years he had been overseeing food and beverage at the St. Regis Washington, D.C. He had previously served in food and beverage roles with the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City and the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay.

Michael Manoocheri has joined the W San Diego as Director of Food and Beverage. The CIA graduate had previously served in similar roles for the Sunset Towers and the Luxe City Center.

Greg O’Stean has been appointed Chief Development Officer at the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group. He was most recently with Piper Jaffray & Company in Atlanta as a Managing Director.

1996 Cornell graduate Mark Keiser has joined the SH Group as Head of Development. He is the former Vice President, Development for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Michael Quan has joined the InterContinental San Francisco as Area Director of IT. He had previously served in similar roles for Asian Health Services, the Bay Computing Group and the Hotel Shattuck Plaza Hotel in Berkeley.

Barry Goldstein has been named Chief Digital and Distribution Officer at the Wyndham Hotel Group. He had previously served in similar roles with Dolce Hotels and Resorts and Starwood.

Lisseth Zouhbi has joined Rosewood Hotels and Resorts as Corporate Director of Human Resources. For the past three years, she had been with the Langham Huntington in Pasadena as Director of Human Resources. She had previously served in similar positions for the Fairmont Newport Beach, the U.S. Grant Hotel in San Diego and the Westin South Coast Plaza.

Red Lion Hotels has appointed Beth Kennar Senior Vice President of Human Resources, Associate General Counsel. She was most recently with the Summit Law Group based in Seattle.

Debra Goetz has been appointed Senior Vice President, Corporate Marketing and Global Communications, at Hyatt Hotels in Chicago. She was most recently the Vice President of Corporate Marketing for the Gannett Company. Goetz had previously served as Vice President at NBCUniversal and Univision Communications.

Sandra Cordova Micek has been appointed Senior Vice President, Global Brands, at Hyatt Hotels in Chicago. She was most recently the Senior Vice President of Marketing for USA TODAY and the former Vice President at NBCUniversal.

Kristen Jordan-Wood has been appointed Vice President Sales and Marketing at HRI Lodging in New Orleans. Since 2013, she had served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing for MetWest Terra Hospitality.

Christopher Shiel has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at Smyth, a Thompson Hotel, in New York. He was most recently serving as Director of Sales with the Denihan Hospitality Group.

Juan Pablo Loza has been appointed Executive Chef at the Rosewood Mayakoba. Most recently, he served as the Executive Chef and Food and Beverage Director at the Belmond Maroma Resort & Spa. He is the former Executive Chef at Jumby Bay and Executive Sous Chef at Las Ventanas al Paraíso.

Gabriel Ask has been named Executive Chef at the Faena Miami Beach. For the past four years he had been Executive Chef for the Montage Beverly Hills. He is the former Executive Sous Chef at the Resort at Pelican Hill.

Steve Sicinski is now in Maine as Executive Chef at the Inn by the Sea. He was most recently the Executive Chef in Vermont for the Crop Bistro Brewery and the Rusty Nail. Frank Ziegler has been named Executive Chef at the Lord Baltimore. He is the former Executive Chef at the Pullman Jakarta.

Jeff Sommer has been named Executive Chef at the Loews New Orleans. He is the former Executive Sous Chef for the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation.

Jon Cowan has moved as Executive Sous Chef to the Trump National Doral, Miami. For the past three years, he had served as Executive Banquet Chef at the Loews Hotel Miami. Cowan is the former Executive Sous Chef at the Westin Hilton Head Island Resort and Spa.

Joseph Yaple has joined the Four Seasons Boston as Restaurant Chef. He was most recently serving as Chef de Cuisine for the Chatham Bars Inn. Yaple is a former Chef de Cuisine at the Four Seasons Resort Lana’i at Manele Bay.

Sébastien Rouxel has joined Starr Restaurants in New York as Corporate Executive Pastry Chef. Since 1999, he had been with the Thomas Keller Restaurant Group, starting as Pastry Chef at the French Laundry. He was most recently serving the group as Executive Pastry Chef.

Michael Moorhouse has joined the Mandarin Oriental New York as Executive Pasty Chef. For the past year, he had been with WP24 in Los Angeles as Pastry Chef. He had previously served in pastry positions with the Kahala Hotel and Resort, Halekulani and the Greenhouse in London.

Jean-Jacques Granet has joined the Pechanga Casino Resort in Temecula as Executive Pasty Chef. Since 2011, he had been serving as Executive Pastry Chef for the MGM Grand Las Vegas.

Benjamin Kallenbach has joined the Ballantyne Hotel and Lodge as Executive Pastry Chef. He was most recently in the same position for the Ritz-Carlton Grand Cayman. Kallenbach is the former Assistant Pastry Chef at the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain Hotel & Spa.

Josh Kougl returns to the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills as General Manager of Culina. He had previously served the hotel as Window Lounge Manager before joining the Innovative Dining Group.

Michel Darmon has joined Bottega Louie Restaurant and Gourmet Market in Los Angeles as General Manager. He was most recently the Restaurant Director at Farmshop in Santa Monica. Darmon is the former Director of Food and Beverage at Encantado in Santa Fe.

Nicole Thomure has been named Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. She was most recently the Director of Outlets at the Fairmont Pittsburgh.

Mauro Governato has returned to Four Seasons as General Manager at the Four Seasons Milano, taking over from Vincenzo Finizzola who is leaving the company after 22 years. Governato had previously served as General Manager at the Four Seasons Lisbon before taking on his most recent role as General Manager at the Hotel de Russie in Rome.

Nicolas Bellaton has been named Hotel Manager at the Ritz Four Seasons Lisbon. He was most recently with the Four Seasons des Bergues in Geneva in various posts.

Greg Liddell has been appointed General Manager at the Mandarin Oriental Barcelona. He was most recently overseeing the Landmark Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong. He is the former General Manager of the Mandarin Oriental Dhara Dhevi, Chiang Mai.

Spencer Yeo is now in London overseeing the Stafford, taking over from Christine Hodder. Yeo was most recently with the Viceroy Santa Monica as General Manager. He is the former General Manager for the Viceroy Istanbul, Hotel Manager at the L’Ermitage Beverly Hills, and Director of Marketing for the Peninsula Beverly Hills.

Jean-Paul Dantil has been appointed General Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Vienna. Dantil was most recently opening the Das Stue in Berlin. He is the former Managing Director of the Puro Group based in Palma de Mallorca.

Sven Van Den Broeck has been appointed General Manager at Aman’s Amanzoe in Greece. He was most recently the Resort Manager at Amanyara.

Otto Steenbeek has been appointed General Manager at the Andaz Liverpool Street. He was most recently the General Manager at the Hyatt Regency Mainz. Steenbeek is the former General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Kuantan and the Grand Hyatt Amman.

Igor Buercher has been appointed General Manager at the W Amsterdam. Since 2013, he had been with the Sheraton Stockholm Hotel as General Manager.

Stephan Post is the new General Manager at the InterContinental Davos. He is the former General Manager at Napasai by Orient Express, the Hotel Monasterio and Palacio Nazarenas.

Howard Lewis has been named General Manager at the Hilton London Docklands. He is the former General Manager at the Hilton Blackpool.

Philip Lewis has been appointed General Manager at Cannizaro House in Wimbledon. He had previously spent two years at the Metropolitan by COMO London as Resident Manager as well seven years with Malmaison and Hotel du Vin.

Mike Fuchs has joined the Mandarin Oriental Munich as Executive Assistant Manager. He was previously in the same role for the Hotel Pine Cliffs Residence. He is the former Director Food and Beverage at the St. Regis Mardavall.

Interstate Europe has named Barry Dawson Vice President Hotels Finance. For the past five years, he had served as Hotels Finance Director for MacDonald Hotels and Resorts.

Jann Kaiser has moved to London to join the Four Seasons Park Lane as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same position with the Four Seasons Chicago.

Dominique Roméo has been promoted to Food and Beverage Director at the Four Seasons des Bergues in Geneva. He was most recently the Bar Manager for the hotel and is the former Food and Beverage Manager at La Réserve Genève Hotel & Spa.

Willemijn Geels has been appointed Associate Vice President Development at InterContinental Hotels Group in Paris. She is the former Development and Acquisitions Director for Louvre Hotels Group.

Janusz Mitulski has been appointed Director, International Hotel Development, Central & Eastern Europe and Baltic Countries, at Marriott International in Warsaw. He was most recently with Horwath HTL, where he was a Partner and Head of Hotel and Tourism Consulting Services for Poland for over 5 years.

Caroline Michel has joined Interstate Europe as Marketing Director. She was most recently with Halfords as Head of Advertising and Digital Media.

Amandine Chaignot has been named Executive Chef at the Rosewood London. She was most recently the Chef de Cuisine for the Hotel Raphael Paris. Chaignot had previously served in chef roles with the Hotel de Crillon, Hotel Meurice, the Hotel Bristol and the Hotel Plaza Athénée.

London’s Savoy has appointed Holger Jackisch Executive Chef, 16 years after he first worked as Executive Sous Chef at the property. Jackisch is the former Executive Chef for the Düsseldorf Steigenberger Parkhotel and the Hotel Baltschug Kempinski Moscow. He takes over from James Pare, who now heads up the Caramba restaurant in Whistler with his uncle, Jay Pare.

The Lanesborough has named Florian Favario Executive Chef. For the past five years, he had served as Sous Chef at sister property Le Bristol Paris.

John Kouphou is the new Executive Chef at the Wentworth Club in Surrey. For the past four years, he had been in Cyprus at the Eléa Estate as Executive Chef.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Ruwan Peiris has been appointed Regional General Manager at InterContinental Hotels Group Australia, based in Sydney. He was most recently Area General Manager with Accor Hotels.

Abhishek Sharma has been named General Manager at the Oberoi Rajvilas Jaipur. He was most recently the General Manager at Wildflower Hall.

Neil McInnes has been appointed General Manager at the Hilton Tokyo Bay. He was most recently serving Hilton Worldwide as Regional Director of Revenue Management for Japan, Korea and Micronesia. McInnes is the former Executive Assistant Manager for the Conrad Tokyo.

Ester Marcaida has returned to Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort and Spa in the Philippines to take on the role of General Manager. She had previously served at the resort as Resident Manager before taking on the role of General Manager at the former Traders Hotel, Malé.

Jens Peter Corder has been appointed General Manager at the Shangri-La Hotel Bengaluru in India. He is the former Resident Manager at the Shangri-La Hong Kong and Director of Food and Beverage at the Shangri-La Singapore.

Michael Schmitt has been appointed Cluster General Manager for the Conrad Dalian and the Hilton Dalian. He was most recently with the Hilton Hua Hin Resort & Spa as General Manager. He is the former General Manager at the Hilton Adelaide.

Mathieu Lacabanne has been appointed General Manager at the Dream Bangkok. He was most recently with the MGallery B-Lay Tong Phuket after serving as General Manager at the Novotel Nha Trang and the Grand Mercure Danang.

Euan Taylor is now in New Zealand as Chief Operating Officer for Robertson Family Lodges. He is the former General Manager at Cavallo Point Lodge in Sausalito and the Hotel Shattuck Plaza in Berkeley.

David de Brito has been named Resort Manager at Keemala in Phuket. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage for Cheval Blanc Randheli by Louis Vuitton in the Maldives.

Jacky Goergler has been promoted to Director of Operations at Three on the Bund. Goergler was most recently serving as Director of Restaurants Operations.

Alexander Kandalaft has been appointed Executive Assistant Manager â€" Rooms at the Swissôtel Merchant Court in Singapore. He has previously served as Director of Rooms at the former Fairmont Battery Wharf.

Christian Jaquier has been named Executive Assistant Manager â€" Rooms at AYANA Resort and Spa Bali and the RIMBA Jimbaran Bali. For the past two years, he had been in a similar position at the Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain. He had previously served in rooms and housekeeping posts at the Ritz-Carlton Charlotte, the Ritz-Carlton Lodge, Reynolds Plantation and the Ritz-Carlton Buckhead.

Frasers Hospitality has appointed Phan Ing Pai Area General Manager, North China, based in Beijing. For the past five years, he was the Group General Manager for Fraser’s Modena by Fraser brand in China. He is the former Regional Director of Projects for Swiss-Belhotel International in China.

Brien Lee has been named Group Director of Design and Planning for Regent Hotels in Taipei. He was most recently serving the company as Group Director of Technical Services. He is the former Design Manager at Shangri-La Hotels and Resorts and Project Designer with Dianna Wong Architecture & Interior Design.

Kym Barter has joined the Wynn Palace in Macao as Senior Vice President of Food and Beverage. Barter was most recently with Nobu Hospitality as Vice President Food and Beverage.

Stanley Chang has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at Six Senses Samui in Thailand. He was most recently in the Maldives at the Beach House Collection after serving two years as Head Sommelier and Beverage Manager at the Grand Hyatt Incheon.

Lionel Kurtz has been promoted to Food and Beverage Director at the Hilton Fukuoka Sea Hawk. He is the former Assistant Food and Beverage Manager for the Hilton Dubai and Food and Beverage Manager at the Hilton Luxor.

Patrick Lefranc has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the Shangri-La Bengaluru. He was most recently in the same position at Shangri-La’s Boracay Resort & Spa.

Michael Ong has joined Pan Pacific Hotels Group as Vice President, Growth and Development, based in Singapore. He was most recently the Senior Director, Development, Asia Pacific, with the Carlson Rezidor Hotel Group.

Austin Watkins is the new Director of Marketing at the Four Seasons Hualalai. He has been with the company for 13 years, most recently serving as Director of Marketing at the Four Seasons Singapore. He is the former Director of Sales at the Four Seasons Whistler and had overseen marketing at the Four Seasons San Francisco and the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills.

Ashley Hansen has been appointed Regional Director of Sales and Marketing Pacific at Starwood Hotels & Resorts in Sydney. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for Le Royal Méridien Shanghai and served as Area Director of Sales and Marketing, East China.

Bradley Doell has joined the Turtle Bay Resort as Director of Sales and Marketing. He had previously overseen sales and marketing for the Hilton Orange County, the St. Regis Monarch Beach and the Moana Surfrider.

Isabel Feng has moved as Director of Sales to the Le Méridien Shimei Bay Beach Resort & Spa in Beijing. She was most recently the Director of Sales at the Renaissance Beijing. Feng had previously served in sales posts with the Sofitel Wanda Beijing and the New Otani Changfugong Hotel.

Hans Lentz has moved to the Hilton Waikoloa Village as Executive Chef. He was most recently with the Mauna Kea Beach Hotel in the same capacity.

MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Sebastian Wurst is now in Cyprus as General Manager at the Anassa. He was most recently with the Hôtel Plaza Athénée, New York as General Manager.

Henri Ruiz has been named General Manager for the Baku Kempinski Badamdar, taking over from Kai Behrens. Ruiz is the former Group Director of Operations for the Emeraude Group.

Urs Solenthaler has been appointed General Manager at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi. He was most recently with the Shangri-La Manila as Resident Manager. Previously, he had served in food and beverage management positions at the Shangri-La Jakarta and the Four Seasons Riyadh.

Mete Atakuman has been appointed General Manager at the Jumeirah Bodrum Palace Hotel in Turkey. He is the former General Manager of the Jumeirah Bilgah Beach Hotel in Baku.

Alexander Schneider has been named General Manager at the Rixos Palm Jumeirah Hotel and Resort in Dubai. He is the former Hotel Manager at the Emirates Palace Hotel and General Manager at the Park Plaza Hotel Bangalore.

Andrea Obertello is now in Morocco with the Four Seasons Marrakech as Resort Manager. She was most recently with the Four Seasons Florence as Director of Rooms.

Adrien Harel has moved to the Four Seasons Casablanca as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same role for the Four Seasons Safari Lodge, Serengeti.

Giuliano Ungaro has moved to the Shangri-La Doha as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same position for the Shangri-La Kuala Lumpur. He had previously served in food and beverage posts with the Shangri-La Hong Kong and the Shangri-La Kota Kinabalu.

Pogda Demircan has been appointed Vice President Hotel Development, Turkey, at Marriott International in Istanbul. For the past seven years, he had been with Hilton Worldwide as Development Director for Turkey.

Bassem Al Hajj has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Al Bida’a in Kuwait. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing of the Mövenpick Hotel & Resort Yanbu.

Rick Gonzalez has been appointed Executive Chef at Six Senses Zil Pasyon, scheduled to open late 2015 in the Seychelles. He most recently opened the Amanzoe Resort in Greece as Executive Chef.

André Buldini has been promoted to Director of Rooms and joined the Four Seasons Casablanca. He was most recently serving as Assistant Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Marrakech.
