The SBE Hotel Group has appointed Sam Bakhshandehpour President. For the past twelve years, he had been with J.P. Morgan Securities' Real Estate, Lodging & Gaming Investment Banking.

Great Wolf Resorts has promoted Tim Black to Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. He joined the company in 2004 as General Manager for the Great Wolf Lodge Wisconsin Dells after more than eighteen years with Six Flags, Inc. He was most recently serving as Executive Vice President.

Xavier Moulin is the new General Manager at the SLS Beverly Hills. He was most recently in the corporate office of SBE as Director of Operations after spending two years as General Manager of the Redbury in Hollywood.

Allen Highfield has been named General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco taking over from Raul Salcido. Highfield was previously the General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Lake Tahoe and the Ritz-Carlton Georgetown. Prior to joining Ritz-Carlton, he had worked for the Little Nell in Aspen and the Four Seasons Chicago.

Hilton Worldwide has named John Rogers Global Head for Embassy Suites Hotels. He was most recently the Regional Vice President for Hilton.

Red Lion Hotels has named Steve Krebs Director of Lodging Development based in Albuquerque. He is the former Director of Franchise Development for AmericInn , and Vice President of Marketing for Supertel Hospitality.

John Price has joined Lane Hospitality as Director of Independent Hotel Operations. He is the former General Manager of the Sax Hotel Chicago, and Managing Director of the Sutton Place Hotel.

Dirk Schavemaker joins Revel as Senior Vice President, Resort Operations. Most recently, he served as Executive Vice President and Chief Resort Experience Officer for Marriott Vacations Worldwide in Orlando.

Rob Cote has rejoined Alliance Hospitality to take the post of Vice President of Operations. He had previously worked at Alliance in 2009 before taking on his most recent post with Interstate Hotels and Resorts as Vice President of Operations.

Kumal Kumlani will become President of Regent Seven Seas taking over from Mark Conroy. Kumlani will continue in his current role with parent company, Prestige Cruise Holdings, as President and Chief Operating Officer.

Thomas Bensel will be joining the Culinary Institute of America at Greystone as Managing Director. He takes over from Charles Henning who is now at Charbay Distillery. Bensel current role is Director of Retail for Bay Bread's La Boulange in San Francisco. He previously spent several years as Vice President Operations for Vine Dining Enterprises and Wolfgang Puck Worldwide.

Frédéric Sérol has joined Maison Dellos in New York as Chief Operating Officer. For the past eight years, he had been with the Marlon Abela Restaurant Group, most recently as Director of Operations USA. Maison Dellos operates Brasserie Pushkin in Moscow, Paris and New York.

Alex Kim is the new General Manager for Meadowood Napa Valley, taking over from Alain Negueloua who is now overseeing the Mandarin Oriental Boston. Kim was most recently managing the One&Only Ocean Club Bahamas.

Adriaan Radder has been appointed General Manager at the Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C. He was most recently in the same capacity at the Ballantyne Hotel in North Carolina. Radder is also a former General Manager of the One&Only Ocean Club.

The Pan Pacific Seattle has appointed Sam Johnson General Manager. He comes from his most recent post as General Manager of the Sorrento, also in Seattle.

Stephen Beaumont has joined the Resort at Paws Up as Chief Executive Officer. He was most recently the Vice President of Hospitality for Victor International. He is the former Vice President - Lodging for the Kohler Company.

Bob Schofield has been named Managing Director of the soon-to-open Langham Chicago. He was most recently the General Manager of the American Club Resort in Kohler, Wisconsin. Schofield is the former Managing Director of the Fairfax Hotel at Embassy Row in Washington, D.C. and the Umstead Hotel and Spa as well as the St. Regis Houston.

Hayden Lingerfelt has been named General Manager at the Grand Hotel Minneapolis. He was most recently the Assistant General Manager at the Hotel Monaco Seattle.

Dan Pirrallo has been named General Manager of the Sheraton Steamboat Resort. He was most recently overseeing the Millennium Harvest House Boulder.

Marty Rosenthal is promoted to take over from Pirrallo as General Manager of the Millennium Harvest House Boulder. He joined the hotel in 2011 as Director of Operations. He had previously served as Director of Food and Beverage for the Steamboat Grand Resort Hotel and Conference Center.

Gerry Hughes has been named General Manager of the Millennium Broadway. He was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Crowne Plaza Times Square Hotel and the former General Manager at the Hilton Long Island.

Carol Fraser is now the General Manager at the Millennium Alaskan Hotel in Anchorage. She was previously with Aramark Parks & Destinations as Regional Director of Sales and Marketing-Alaska.

Shawn Gracey has been appointed General Manager of the Hotel Derek in Houston. This is a return to Houston for Gracey who had previously overseen the Hotel ICON. He left Houston to manage the two-year renovation of the Carolina Inn in Chapel Hill. He is the former General Manager of the Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach and the Graciela Burbank.

Wanda Chan has been named General Manager of the Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles. Since 2010, she had served as General Manager of ONE UN New York (formerly known as the Millennium UN Plaza Hotel). Chan also spent over five years as General Manager of the Warwick New York. Paul Wong comes from Singapore to take over from Chan at ONE UN New York.

The Palm Beach Gardens Marriott has appointed Deborah Carr General Manager. She most recently opened the Omphoy Ocean Resort in Palm Beach. Carr is also the former General Manager of Palm Beach's Brazilian Court.

The Hyatt Regency Minneapolis has named Mark Becker General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Sarasota. He is the former Executive Assistant Manager of the Hyatt Grand Champions Resort and Spa, and the Hyatt Regency Huntington Beach.

Mike Ehmann has been appointed General Manager of the Sheraton Phoenix Downtown Hotel. Most recently, he had served as General Manager for the Sheraton Denver Downtown Hotel, formerly the Adam's Mark Hotel.

Tim Michaud has been named General Manager of the International Palms Resort and Conference Center Cocoa Beach. For the past six years, he served as Resort Manager and Chief Operating Officer at Captain Hiram's Resort in Sebastian.

Stephan Amesoeder has been named General Manager of the Andover Inn. Most recently, he had served as Director of Food and Beverage at the Wyndham Andover.

Lyle Pauls has been appointed General Manager of the Landings St. Lucia. He had previously overseen the Carlton Savannah in Trinidad, Coco Reef in Bermuda and the W Union Square.
 
Cornell graduate Peter Nowotny has been named General Manager of the Somerset on Grace Bay on Turks and Caicos, taking over from Ulrich Krauer (who is now at Hawaii's Halekulani.) Nowotny is the former Food and Beverage Director for the Sandia Resort Casino & Spa in Albuquerque and General Manager for the Holiday Inn Dallas North.

Tom Ballance has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer of the Borgata Hotel Casino & Spa. He was most recently serving as Borgata's Senior Vice President of Administration.

Kevin Speidel has been named Area Managing Director for Hilton Worldwide Hotels & Resorts in Fort Lauderdale. He most recently served as Managing Director for both the Casa Marina and The Reach in Key West.

Brett Orlando has joined Kimpton's Epic Hotel in Miami as General Manager. He was most recently the Regional Director, Florida, for Equinox Fitness. He is the former Managing Director of the Hotel Gansevoort Miami and Vice President of Operations at the Fontainebleau Resort. 

Bill Friedrich has been named General Manager of the Embassy Suites International Drive South Convention Center in Orlando. He was most recently the Director of Front Office Operations for the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. 

Thomas McCann has been named General Manager of the River Terrace Inn in Napa. He was most recently the General Manager for the Mountain Thunder Lodge, the Great Divide Lodge, the Village at Breckenridge and the Tenaya Lodge at Yosemite.

Grace Mora has been named Vice President and General Counsel at the Fontainebleau in Miami Beach. She was most recently Counsel at Hunton & Williams, also in Miami.

Dan McDermott has been named General Manager of the Marenas Resort. He was most recently the General Manager of the Hilton Irvine. He is the former Hotel Manager at El Conquistador Golf Resort and Casino in Puerto Rico.

David Kingston has joined the Hotel Terra Jackson Hole as General Manager. He was most recently at the Snake River Lodge & Spa as General Manager.

Debra Shinn has been named General Manager of Seven Canyons Sedona. She is the former Director of Guest Experience for the Ivy Hotel in San Diego and Director of Resort Services for Wynn Las Vegas.

The Vero Beach Hotel has named Duncan Clements General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the Hotel Burnham Chicago and the Hotel Lumen Dallas, both Kimpton properties as well.

Bacara Resort & Spa has named Tom McLaughlin Hotel Manager. Most recently he was the Director of Rooms at the Regency Hotel in New York.

The Sonesta Great Bay Beach Resort has named Karl Bourne Hotel Manager. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at Beaches Resort & Spa in Jamaica.

Glen Winsor has been appointed Hotel Manager at the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek. He was most recently the General Manager for the DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Orlando - Lake Buena Vista. He is the former General Manager of the Embassy Suites Orlando International Drive South Convention Center and the DoubleTree by Hilton Walt Disney World.

Mario Cabezas has been appointed Executive Assistant Manager at the soon-to-open Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Dorado, Puerto Rico. He had previously worked for the Ritz-Carlton Jakarta in the same capacity.

Mark Bock has been named Controller for the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe. He is the former Controller for the Estancia La Jolla Hotel & Spa and the W San Diego.

Danette Perrotta has been named Director of Finance for Bacara Resort and Spa. Most recently, she served as Chief Financial Officer at Rancho Las Palmas Resort & Spa, and is the former Controller at Ojai Valley Inn and Spa.

The Alexander in Indianapolis has named Gary Faehr Director of Finance. He is the former Controller of the 21c Museum Hotel in Louisville.

Rene Cortez has joined the Luxe City Center as Chief Engineer. For the past four years, he had been at the Sofitel Los Angeles as Director of Engineering and Security. He is the former Director of Engineering for the Westin Pasadena.

Asaad Farag has joined Samba Brand Management in New York as Chief Operating Officer. He is the former General Manager of the Corinthia Nevskij Palace in St. Petersburg and the Crowne Plaza Times Square.

White Lodging Services has named Giorgi Di Lemis Vice President of Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Corporate Vice President of Food and Beverage for Benchmark Hospitality. Prior to joining Benchmark in 2009, he had spent eight years as Vice President Food and Beverage for Gaylord Hotels.

The Loews Coronado Bay has appointed Patrick Berwald Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in Washington, D.C. as Executive Assistant Director of Food and Beverage for the InterContinental The Willard.

Pascal Castiau has joined the Hyatt Key West Resort and Spa as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Hyatt Regency Dallas Fort Worth.

Alfredo Sarnataro has rejoined the JW Marriott Miami to take the post of Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served as Director of Restaurants and Bars for the resort before taking on his most recent role of Director of Dining Services to open the JW Marriott Marquis Miami and the Hotel Beaux Arts Miami.

Ricardo Verdan has returned to his former role of Director of Food and Beverage at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center. He had previously held this post before leaving in 2005 to take on food and beverage positions for the Sheraton Boston Hotel and the Westin Waltham Boston.

The JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa has appointed Paul Rossi Director of Food and Beverage. Most recently, he served as Director of Food and Beverage at the Ritz-Carlton Los Angeles & JW Marriott Los Angeles L.A. LIVE.

Keli Christensen has been promoted to Corporate Director, Human Resources for Montage Hotels & Resorts, based in Laguna Beach. She was most recently serving as Director of Human Resources at the Montage Deer Valley.

Christine Gaudenzi has been named Vice President of Marketing for Woodside Hotels. She is the former Vice President of Marketing for Larkspur Hotels and Restaurants and Director of Marketing at Cavallo Point Lodge.

Danielle Dymond-Luther has moved to New York's Gramercy Park Hotel as Director of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Alex Hotel. She had previously overseen sales and marketing for the Sofitel New York, the InterContinental The Barclay, and the InterContinental Times Square.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has named Mary Casey Senior Vice President of Sales, North America Division. She has been with ITT Sheraton and Starwood for more than 20 years, most recently as Vice President, Global Corporate Sales.

Casa de Campo Resort has named Peter Bonell Chief Marketing Officer. He had previously served as Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Grupo Punta Cana, Ginn Resorts, Colonial Williamsburg and Hershey Entertainment and Resorts.

Veronica Smiley has joined the SBE Hotel Group as Chief Marketing Officer. She was most recently Vice President of Corporate Marketing for Caesars Entertainment.

Keith Chouinard has joined the Hyatt Regency Newport in Rhode Island as Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently the Director of Business Development for the Ocean Edge Resort and Golf Club. Chouinard is the former Director of Sales at the Boulders Resort and Golden Door Spa and Senior Sales Manager at Vail Cascade Resort.

The Loews Don CeSar Hotel has named Jim Caul Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently in the same role at the Loews Lake Las Vegas Resort.

Michael Chagnon has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for Villas of Grand Cypress in Orlando. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for Equinox in Vermont.

Jeri Ann Hart has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the Palm Beach Gardens Marriott. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the Delray Beach Marriott. 

Terence Sullivan has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hilton Indianapolis North. He was most recently in the same position for the Crowne Plaza Riverwalk San Antonio.

John Branciforte has been named as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Wyndham Grand Orlando Resort Bonnet Creek. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort.

Anne Stephany has joined Bacara Resort as Director of Marketing and Communications. Most recently, she served as a Regional Director of Public Relations for Loews Hotels.

Jim Coffey has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Royal Sonesta Harbor Court Baltimore. He was most recently Director of Sales and Marketing at the Dolce Atlanta Peachtree.

Gwenn Feliciano has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the Radisson Blu Resort, Marina & Spa on St. Martin. She was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for Elite Island Resorts.

Prestige Cruise Holdings has promoted Randall Soy to Executive Vice President of Sales and Marketing. He has been with the company for 22 years, the company's longest-tenured employee, most recently as Senior Vice President of Sales.

Chaya Donne has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hilton San Diego Mission Valley. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the San Diego Marriott La Jolla, and the Omni Los Angeles Hotel at California Plaza.

Scott Jernstrom has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the New Orleans Marriott. He was most recently serving as an Asset Manager at the Bethesda Marriott. He had previously held sales positions for the Wardman Park Marriott in Washington, D.C. and the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront.

Aaron Feeney has joined the Andaz Napa as Director of Sales and Marketing. He had previously served in sales positions at the Hyatt Regency Dearborn, the Hyatt Regency Long Beach and the Hyatt Regency Chicago.

April Storms is now in New York as Director of Agency Sales for the Andaz Wall Street and the Andaz 5th Avenue. She was most recently the Associate Director of Sales at the Andaz West Hollywood. Storms is a former Associate Director of Catering at the Hotel Bel-Air.

Stephanie Conchuratt is now in Santa Monica at the Oceana as Director of Sales. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the Lowell. She had previously served in sales positions at the New York Palace and the Hotel Bel-Air.

Cathy Ennis has been appointed Director of Sales for the South Seas Island Resort on Captiva Island. She was most recently the Director of Sales for the Sanibel Harbour Marriott Resort & Spa and a former Senior Sales Manager at the Pink Shell Beach Resort & Spa.

The Memphis Marriott Downtown has named Samantha Barnett Director of Sales. She was most recently in Dubai with Marriott International as Director of Global Sales. She is the former Director of Sales for the Diplomat Radisson SAS Bahrain.

Céline Primo has joined the Sofitel Los Angeles as Assistant Director of Sales Business Travel. She was most recently with the Terranea Resort as Leisure Sales Manager. She had previously spent twelve years with the Loews Santa Monica Beach Hotel in various sales roles.

Laura Jung has bee appointed Director of Group Sales for the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. For the past 16 years, she had been at the Hilton Union Square, most recently as Director of Group Sales.

Erin Kavanaugh has been named Business and Leisure Sales Manager for the Hyatt Regency Tamaya Resort & Spa in New Mexico. She was most recently with the Grand Hyatt Kauai as a Leisure Sales Manager.

Don Ehehalt is now at the Beverly Hilton as Senior Sales Manager. He had previously served in sales and catering positions at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, the Four Seasons Las Vegas, the Venetian Las Vegas and the former Four Seasons Aviara.

Tony Nichols has joined Casa de Campo in the Dominican Republic as National Group and Golf Sales Manager. For the past four years, he had been at the Kingsmill Resort as National Sales Manager.

The Enchantment Group has named Babs Harrison Director of Communications. She was most recently the Senior Vice President at Honolulu-based Sheila Donnelly and Associates.

Mariam Karim has been appointed Director of Catering and Conference Services at the St. Regis Atlanta. Most recently, she served as Director of Catering at the W Washington, D.C. She had previously held various catering posts with the Willard InterContinental Washington, D.C., the St. Regis Washington, D.C. and the Four Seasons Washington, D.C. 

Maxie Haber has moved as Catering Manager to the Alexander. She was most recently with the Omni Severin Hotel in Indianapolis as Catering Sales Manager.

David Werly has joined the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas as Executive Chef. He was most recently in a similar position at the Setai Miami. He is the former Executive Chef of Le Cirque at the Bellagio Hotel and Casino. He had also worked in the kitchens for Le Cirque New York and Le Cirque Mexico City.

The soon-to-open ultra-luxury Mukul Resort & Spa, on Nicaragua's Emerald Coast, has tapped Mauricio "Mauro" Navarro as its opening Executive Chef. A graduate of the Institut Culinaire Paul Bocuse in Lyon, Mauro spent the past three and a half years as Executive Chef at the Villa Maria Cristina in Guanajuato, Mexico.

Mathew Woolf has joined Gordon Ramsay to open Fat Cow in Los Angeles as Executive Chef. He was most recently at the Hotel Angeleno as Executive Chef. He is the former Chef de Cuisine for Fig at the Fairmont Miramar in Santa Monica.

Todd Allison has joined the Inn at Rancho Santa Fe as Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Chef for Anthology in San Diego. He had previously served in a similar role for the Hilton Checkers in Los Angeles, and Studio Restaurant at the Montage Laguna Beach.

Ricky Rivera has been promoted to Executive Chef at the Courtyard Isla Verde Beach Resort in Puerto Rico having been at the resort for several years. He had previously served in culinary posts for the San Juan Marriott Resort & Stellaris Casino and the Ritz-Carlton San Juan.

The Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort Casino & Spa has appointed Vincent Pellegrini as Executive Chef. He had previously served in culinary posts at the Grand Hyatt São Paulo, the Hyatt Regency Trinidad and, most recently, the Hyatt Regency Curaçao.

The Mansion on Forsyth Park in Savannah has named Geir Kilen Executive Chef for 700 Drayton. He was most recently the Executive Chef of the Commerce Club in Atlanta.

The St. Regis Deer Valley has appointed Shane Baird Chef de Cuisine for J&G Grill. He is a former Sous Chef with Joie de Vivre Hospitality in San Francisco and Executive Sous Chef for Butterfly Restaurant in Salt Lake City.

The Kiawah Island Golf Resort in Charleston has appointed Brendon Bashford Executive Chef.  He most recently served as Executive Chef at the Fairmont Battery Wharf.

Marc Suennemann has been appointed Executive Chef for the Sheraton Atlanta Hotel. He is the former Executive Chef at Chateau Elan in North Georgia.

Claudio Melis has been appointed Executive Chef for Jumby Bay. He is the former Chef de Cuisine at the Al Faisaliah Hotel in Riyadh.

The Palihouse Courtyard Brasserie in West Hollywood has named Jonathan Peters Chef de Cuisine. He was most recently with Gordon Ramsay Steak in Las Vegas and is the former Executive Chef of the Chamberlain West Hollywood.

The JW Marriott Camelback Inn Resort & Spa has appointed Paul Millist Executive Chef. He was most recently the Executive Chef of the JW Marriott Phuket Resort & Spa.

D'Alitta Giovanni has joined Jumby Bay as Chef de Cuisine for the Verandah. He was most recently the Sous Chef at Ristorante sul Mareon in Tortoreto.

Fhonthip Jones has joined Jumby Bay as Pastry Chef. She had previously served in similar roles for the Four Seasons Nevis, the Ritz-Carlton Dubai and the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua.

William Douillet is now in Los Angeles as General Manager for Michael Voltaggio's ink. He was most recently overseeing Sixteen in the Trump Chicago. He is the former Restaurant Manager for Next and Sommelier at Alinea.

Scott Jones has been named Food and Beverage Manager for Jumby Bay. He was most recently with the Four Seasons Nevis as Director of Conference and Catering Services.

Carmen Cruz has been named Assistant General Manager of the Curtis in Denver. She was most recently in Studio City serving as Assistant General Manager of the Archstone. She is the former Director of Rooms at the Hilton Pasadena and the Hilton San Diego Bayfront, as well as the Director of Front Office Operations at the Hilton San Francisco.

James DeLuca has been named Director of Front Office Operations for Bardessono in Yountville. He is the former General Manager of District 4 Wine Bar and had previously overseen La Residence and the North Block Hotel in Napa Valley.   

EUROPE

The Rezidor Hotel Group has appointed Wolfgang Neumann President and Chief Executive Officer, taking over from Kurt Ritter who is retiring. Neumann was most recently serving the company as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer. The former Chief Executive Officer for Arabella Hospitality Group in Munich, he also had a 24-year career with Hilton International.

Nicolas Béliard has been appointed General Manager at the Peninsula Paris, starting January 2013. He was previously the General Manager at the Peninsula Bangkok and originally joined the group at the Peninsula Hong Kong as Resident Manager. Béliard had previously held management roles at the Mandarin Oriental Miami as well as at the Four Seasons Hotel des Bergues and Four Seasons Nevis.

Gilles Fouilleroux has been named General Manager for the Terre Blanche Hotel & Spa, formerly the Four Seasons Provence at Terre Blanche. He is the previous General Manager for Le Mas de Pierre in St. Paul de Vence and of the Baglioni Le Saint Paul. Fouilleroux also served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Grand-Hotel du Cap-Ferrat.

Lars Wagner has moved to the Mandarin Oriental Geneva as General Manager, taking over from Marco Torriani who will retire after twelve years as General Manager. Wagner was most recently the General Manager of the Mandarin Oriental Munich.

Wolfgang Greiner takes over from Wagner as General Manager of the Mandarin Oriental Munich. He was most recently the Area General Manager for Schloss Fuschl Betriebe in Salzburg.

Former Four Seasons man Markus Iseli has left the helm of the Palace Lucerne to open the Pierre-Yves-Rochon-designed COSMO in Milan. Iseli had been the General Manager of the Four Seasons Seychelles and the Four Seasons Damascus. He had originally joined the group as Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Istanbul.

Wilhelm Luxem has joined the Hotel Baur au Lac in Zurich as General Manager succeeding Michel Rey. Luxem was most recently overseeing the Excelsior Hotel Ernst in Cologne.

Henning Matthiesen takes over from Luxem as General Manager of the Excelsior Hotel Ernst. He was most recently overseeing the Grand Hotel Heiligendamm. He had served in management roles at the Hotel Adlon Kempinski in Berlin, and the Augustine Hotel in Prague.

The Excelsior Hotel Berlin has named Michael Eiser General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of the Abion Spreebogen Waterside Hotel in Berlin.

Kai Winkler has been appointed General Manager at the Kempinski Hotel Barbaros Bay in Turkey. He was most recently managing the Kempinski Hotel Airport Munich.

Blanche van Berckel has been named General Manager of the Hotel Amigo in Brussels, taking over from Jacques Vitu who recently left the company. She was most recently a Director with the Fairquest Group.

Anita Bos has been named General Manager for the InterContinental Amstel Amsterdam, taking over from Nils Axing. She was most recently with NH Hotels as Regional Operations Manager.

Orient Express' La Residencia in Mallorca has named Ulisses Marreiros General Manager. He was previously in the same capacity at sister property Reid's Palace in Portugal.

The Westin Costa Navarino has named Michel Cottray General Manager, taking over from Peter Alatsas. Cottray was most recently the Area Manager South of France & Monaco for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Sébastien Urvoy-Berthelot has been named General Manager of the Chateau Golf d'Augerville in France. He was previously the Manager of the nearby Chateau de Malesherbes.

Patrick Joyce has been appointed General Manager at the Morrison in Dublin. For the past five years, he had served as General Manager for the Lyrath Hotel.

Christophe Hilty has been appointed Hotel Manager at 45 Park Lane in London. He was most recently the Director of Hotel Operations at One Aldwych. He is the former Director of Rooms for the Four Seasons Seychelles.

Tina Maria Verdi is now managing the Steigenberger Hotel Kaprun Alpine, taking over from Marie-Louise Zott who retires after fifteen years at the helm of the hotel. Verdi was previously overseeing the Mavida Balance Hotel & Spa.

Martin Diehr has been named Executive Assistant Manager-Director Food and Beverage at the Abama Golf & Spa Resort in Tenerife. He was most recently the General Manager at the Cabana Beach Club in Jacksonville.

The Çiragan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul has appointed Michael Braun Food and Beverage Director. He was most recently the Executive Assistant Manager, Food and Beverage, at the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi.

Simon Gilkes is joining the Morgans Hotel Group to open the Mondrian London as Director of Sales and Marketing. For the past seven years, he had held the post of Director of Sales at the Savoy. He is a former Director of Corporate Sales at the St. Regis Boca Raton Resort & Club.

Loredana Brescia has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the Jumeirah Grand Hotel Via Veneto in Rome. She was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for NH Lingotto in Turin.

The Grosvenor House Apartments by Jumeirah Living in London has appointed Steve Thorne Director of Sales and Marketing. He had previously served in regional sales and marketing roles for the Ascott Group and InterContinental.

The Doubletree by Hilton Dunblane Hydro in Scotland has named David Jamieson Head Chef to oversee the Kailyard by Nick Nairn. He had previously served in similar roles at Glasgow's Thistle Hotel and the Erskine Bridge Hotel.

Simon Magnus has been appointed Food and Beverage Manager at the Hilton Glasgow. Magnus had previously overseen the Dormy Clubhouse at Gleneagles.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Gerald Glennon has moved to the Modern Honolulu as Managing Director. For the past eleven years, he had held various posts at Halekulani, the last four as General Manager.

Marc Handl has joined the Ritz-Carlton Seoul as General Manager. He was most recently in Beijing, overseeing the BC Hotel and Residences. Handl is the former Hotel Manager at the Peninsula Tokyo, Director of Sales and Marketing for the Grand Hyatt Seoul and Director of Food and Beverage at the Park Hyatt Chicago.

Raghu Menon is the General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Shenzhen. He was most recently the Hotel Manager of the Ritz-Carlton & JW Marriott Hotel Beijing.

Lily Ng has been named President of Caesars Global Living Asia. She was most recently Executive Vice President at Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in China.

Aditya Mata has taken on the role of Chief Operating Officer-Hospitality for Surya Samudra Private Retreats. He had previously overseen the Amani Tiwi Beach Resort, the Zuri Kumarakom Kerala Resort and Spa and the Diani Reef Beach Resort and Spa.

Andy So has been appointed General Manager for the pentahotel Hong Kong slated to open Summer 2013. He was most recently the Executive Assistant Manager, Sales and Marketing, for the Grand Hyatt Macau. He had previously overseen sales and marketing for the Hyatt Regency Hong Kong, Tsim Sha Tsui, and the Renaissance Harbour View Hotel Hong Kong.

Timur Senturk has been named pre-opening General Manager for the J Hotel Shanghai Tower, slated to open in 2015. He was most recently the General Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Guangzhou. He is the former General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton South Beach and the Ritz-Carlton Pentagon City.

Jan Tibaldi is now in Shanghai as General Manager for the PuLi Hotel and Spa. He is the former General Manager of the Oberoi Udaivilas. A seasoned resort operator, he also served as General Manager for the Viceroy Group in Anguilla, the One&Only St. Geran and the One&Only Kanuhura.

John Dopéré has joined La Residence Phou Vao by Orient-Express as General Manager. He is the former Executive Assistant Manager of Food and Beverage for the Six Senses and Evason Hua Hin.

Jeremie de Fombelle has been named General Manager at the Jimbaran Puri Bali by Orient-Express. He is the former General Manager for the Napasai and La Residence Phou Vao. Mariano Takinami takes over at Napasai for de Fombelle.

Otto Kurzendorfer has been appointed General Manager of the Kempinski Hotel Shenyang. He is the former General Manager of the InterContinental Tangshan and the Crowne Plaza Sanya.

Britta Kutz takes over from Andreas Pfister as General Manager of the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort. She had previously served in various posts for the InterContinental Cologne and the InterContinental Frankfurt.

Alex Kassatly has been appointed General Manager of the Conrad Beijing, slated to open later this year. Most recently, he had served as General Manager of the Grand Millennium Dubai.

Max Binda has joined the Mandarin Oriental Shanghai as Hotel Manager. He was most recently with the Sofitel Legend Metropole Hanoi as Resident Manager. He is the former Director of Rooms at the Mandarin Oriental Marrakech.

Charles Fisher has moved to the Four Seasons Lanai at Manele Bay as Resort Manager. He has been with the company for over thirteen years, most recently in a similar capacity at the Four Seasons Chiang Mai. He is the former Director of Rooms of the Regent Singapore.

Manish Nambiar has been appointed Hotel Manager for the Kempinski Ambience Delhi. He is a former Hotel Manager for the Kempinski Hotel Soma Bay in Egypt.

Langham Hospitality Group has named Teresa Poon Regional Quality Manager (International). She was most recently at the Langham Place, Mongkok, in Hong Kong as Hotel Manager.

Kenneth Kominski has joined COMO Hotels and Resorts as Group Director Human Resources, based in Singapore. He was most recently serving as Director of People Innovation and Education for Pan Pacific Hotels.

The Kempinski Ambience Hotel Delhi has appointed Aditya Singh Director for Sales and Marketing. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the JW Marriott Chandigarh.

Nicola Coccia has been named Executive Chef at the Shangri-La Singapore. He was most recently in the same capacity for Shangri-La at the China World Summit Wing. He is the former Executive Chef for the Futian Shangri-La Hotel.

The Concorde Singapore has appointed Sunny Goh Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Chef for the M Hotel Singapore, and the Heritage Hotel Manila.

Kamala Nayeli has been named Spa Director for the Halekulani. She is the former Spa Director for the Bora Bora Pearl Beach Resort.

MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Emaar Hospitality Group has appointed Josef Kufer Chief Operating Officer. He is the former Regional Vice President Asia & Middle East for Langham Hospitality Group, and Senior Vice President Africa with Mövenpick Hotels & Resorts.

Jim Kostecky has been named General Manager at the Four Seasons Safari Lodge in Serengeti. He joined the company in 2002 as Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Hualalai and is the former General Manager at the Four Seasons Great Exuma, the Four Seasons Chiang Mai and the Four Seasons Tented Camp Golden Triangle.

Hartmut Noack has been appointed General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Sharm El Sheikh. For the past two years, he had served as General Manager of the Islamabad Marriott Hotel.

Raul Salcido has been named General Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Dubai. For the past three years he has been the General Manager for the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco. He has been with the company since 1993, and is the former General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Istanbul, and Hotel Manager for the Hotel Arts Barcelona.

Aurelio Giraudo has been named General Manager at the Regency Kuwait. He was most recently the opening General Manager for the Best Western Premier Dua Sentral in Kuala Lumpur.

Puneet Singh has been named General Manager at Kempinski Grand Hotel, Bahrain City Centre. He was most recently overseeing the Kempinski Hotel The Dome in Turkey.

Andreas Pfister has been appointed General Manager at InterContinental Doha. He had been with the company since 1990, most recently as General Manager for the InterContinental Hua Hin Resort.

Leroy Browne has been appointed General Manager of the Hilton Trinidad and Conference Centre. He is the former Director of Operations at the Hilton Barbados Resort.

Bertrand Margerie has been appointed Resident Manager at the InterContinental Aqaba Resort. He was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Holiday Inn Resort Dead Sea.

Sebastian Mueller takes over from Michael Braun as Director Food and Beverage at the Park Hyatt Abu Dhabi. He was most recently serving as Assistant Director Food and Beverage for the Grand Hyatt Seoul.

Antonio Recillas is now in Abu Dhabi overseeing food and beverage for the St. Regis Saayidat Island. He was most recently with Fisher Island in Miami as Director of Food and Beverage. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Mandarin Oriental Miami and the Naples Grande Beach Resort.

Helen McCabe-Young has returned to Kerzner International, taking on the role of Executive Vice-President, Sales and Marketing for One&Only Resorts & Kerzner Global Corporate Communications based in Dubai. She is the former Senior Vice President, Sales and Marketing for One&Only Resorts and Chief Marketing Officer for the Atlantis The Palm, Dubai.

James Haigh has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Four Seasons Safari Lodge in Serengeti. He is the former Sales and Marketing Manager for the Singita Game Reserves.

Stéphane de Robien has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the Jumeirah Messilah Beach. He was most recently the opening Director of Sales and Marketing for the Melia Zanzibar. He is the former Group Director of Sales and Marketing for Palmeraie Hotels & Resorts.

Christian Hellot has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the Jumeirah Creekside Hotel in Dubai. He is the former Cluster Director of Sales and Marketing for Accor.

Cyril Mouawad has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the InterContinental Doha. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for the InterContinental Regency Bahrain and served in the same capacity for the InterContinental Mzaar Lebanon.

Ferhad Zohny has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi. He is the former Director of Sales with the InterContinental Abu Dhabi.

Luis Soares has been named Associate Director of Sales at the Hyatt Capital Gate Abu Dhabi. He had previously served in sales positions for the Hyatt Regency London - The Churchill, and the London Hilton on Park Lane.

The Mövenpick Hotel Ibn Battuta Gate has named Marco de Wildt Executive Chef. He joined Mövenpick in 2006, and was recently overseeing the kitchens for the group's three hotels in the Netherlands. He had previously served in culinary roles at Blakes Hotel Amsterdam, the Port Palace in Monte Carlo and the Palace Hotel in Noordwijk.

Alexander Haebe has been named Executive Pastry Chef at the Emirates Palace Abu Dhabi. He previously served as Executive Pastry Chef for the Kempinski Hotel Ajman, and the Kempinski Hotel Bahrain.

Laurent Allereau has been named Executive Pastry Chef at the Ritz-Carlton Grand Canal in Abu Dhabi. He was most recently with Fauchon-Paris in Casablanca. He had previously served as Executive Pastry Chef at the Four Seasons Doha and the Four Seasons Amman.

Jozef Pesta has been appointed Restaurant Manager of Spice Market by Jean-George Vongerichten at the W Doha. He most recently had a similar position at the Spice Market London.

Michelle Kelleher has joined the BLISS Spa at W Doha as Spa Director. She was most recently in London overseeing the spa at the W Leicester Square.
