Jamie Sabatier has been named President and Chief Operating Officer of Destination Hotels and Resorts, taking over from Charles Peck who is retiring after leading the company for the past fifteen years. Sabatier comes from senior executive posts with Starwood Hotels and Resorts where he once oversaw the W Hotels brand.

Jose Soriano returns to Toronto for his promotion with Four Seasons to the position of Vice President, Worldwide Residential Operations, based in the Toronto corporate office. He once served as Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Toronto and has been with the company since 1995. Most recently, he held the post of General Manager for the Four Seasons Dublin.

Danette Opaczewski has been promoted to Executive Vice President, Operations, at Denihan Hospitality. She had joined the company in 2008 as Senior Vice President, Asset Management, and is the former Chief Financial Officer for The James.

Richard Evanich has joined the Waldorf-Astoria Chicago as General Manager. He was most recently overseeing the Island Hotel in Newport Beach. Evanich is the former General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Battery Park, the Ritz-Carlton Boston Common and the Ritz-Carlton New York, Central Park.

The Loews Coronado Bay Resort has appointed Brian Johnson General Manager, taking over from Kathleen Cochran who is overseeing Bacara Resort and Spa. Johnson is the former General Manager of the Loews Portofino and the Loews Ventana Canyon.

Stephanie Mehail has joined Orient Express' Inn at Perry Cabin as General Manager. She was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Langham Huntington and the former Hotel Manager at the Langham Boston.

Chad Olson has been named General Manager for the Villa Florence Hotel in San Francisco. For the past five years, Olson had been the General Manager of the nearby Hotel Adagio.

David Yamada is the new General Manager at the Westward Look Wyndham Grand Resort & Spa in Tucson. He is the former General Manager of the Wyndham Kingston in Jamaica and the Westin St. John.

Manuel Deisen has been promoted to General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Atlanta Downtown. He is the former Hotel Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Amelia Island.

The Harbor Beach Marriott Resort & Spa has named Kimberly Wilson General Manager. She has been with Marriott since 1988, most recently as Area General Manager for the Miami Airport Marriott.

Saye Kokeh who was most recently the Hotel Manager for 60 Thompson in New York, has been promoted to manage the Thompson Toronto.

Monica Paixao has joined the Hotel Santa Teresa in Rio de Janeiro. She was most recently overseeing the Ipanema Plaza Hotel.

Don Fraser has been named General Manager of the Paramount in New York. He was most recently the General Manager at the Royal Palm in Miami Beach.

The Hilton San Antonio Hill Country has named Alex Petrollini General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of the DoubleTree by Hilton Chicago O'Hare. He is the former General Manager of the Crowne Plaza Portland.

Rob Smith has been named General Manager of the Radisson Plaza Minneapolis. He was most recently overseeing the Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa.

Willem Plegt takes over from Rob Smith as General Manager of the Radisson Aruba Resort, Casino & Spa. Plegt was most recently the General Manager of the Palisade Palms in Galveston.

Jean-Marc Pétin has joined the Harbour Village Beach Club in Bonaire, Dutch West Indies, as General Manager. He spent the past several years as consultant and operators for independent projects in French Polynesia. 

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has appointed Stephen Pettibone Vice President of Investor Relations, taking over from Jay Koval. Pettibone has been with the company for five years, most recently in Mergers and Acquisitions.

Martha Hampton has been appointed General Manager at Casa San Agustin in Colombia. She was most recently serving as a consultant for Casa Casuarina, the former Versace Mansion, after holding the position of General Manager at Casa Tua in Miami Beach.

The Ranch at Rock Creek has named Maja Kilgore General Manager. For the past four years, she had served in a similar post at Laucala Island in Fiji.

Kevin Dimond has joined the Mystic Hotel by Charlie Palmer in San Francisco as General Manager. He was most recently overseeing Palmer's Aureole in Las Vegas. Dimond, a CIA graduate, had previously spent over sixteen years with Ritz-Carlton serving in food and beverage posts at the Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas, the Ritz-Carlton San Juan and the Ritz-Carlton Sydney.

Rick Corcoran has been named General Manager of the Fairmont Sonoma Mission Inn & Spa. He was most recently the Hotel Manager/Acting General Manager at sister property, the Fairmont Vancouver. 

Rosewood's Mansion on Peachtree will now be the Mandarin Oriental Atlanta with Robert Lowe as General Manager. He was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Mandarin Oriental New York. He is the former Resident Manager of the Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C. and Director of Sales and Marketing for the Mandarin Oriental San Francisco.

The Fairmont Millennium Park Chicago has named Mark Huntley General Manager and Regional Vice President. He had previously overseen the Fairmont San Francisco and the Savoy in London. He is a former Executive Vice President of MGM Grand Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas.

Steve Buckler has been appointed General Manager of the Hyatt Place Braintree in Massachusetts. Buckler was most recently the Vice President, Sales and Marketing, for the Broughton Hospitality Group.

Mark Plonkey has been promoted to General Manager at the Hotel Teatro in Denver. For the past year, he had been serving the hotel as Assistant General Manager.

Gigi Vega has been appointed General Manager at the Nobu Hotel Las Vegas in Caesars Palace. She was most recently serving Caesars as Vice President of Luxury Hotel Operations. She had previously overseen rooms division for the Mandarin Oriental Macau and the Mandarin Oriental Manila.

Karambir Singh Kang has been named General Manager of the Taj Boston. He was most recently overseeing the Taj Mahal Palace in Mumbai.

The Four Seasons Nevis has appointed Mohamed Elbanna Resort Manager. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Ritz-Carlton Chicago and the Four Seasons Alexandria.

Denihan Hospitality has promoted Dani Elhachem to the post of Vice President, Operations. He was most recently serving as Regional Managing Director, Southeast. He is the former opening General Manager for the Liaison Capitol Hill and served as Director of Resort Operations at the Westin Resort and Spa Whistler.

Sea Island has appointed James Gibson Director of Operations. Most recently, Gibson served as Hotel Manager of the Trump SoHo in New York City. He is the former Managing Director at the Residences at Biltmore in North Carolina and Hotel Manager of the Ritz-Carlton San Juan.

Oliver Meinzer has been named Director, Global Room Operations Development, for Marriott International. He is the former Director of Operations for the JW Marriott Desert Springs Resort & Spa and Resident Manager at the Newport Beach Marriott Hotel and Spa.

Bibiana Galindo has been promoted to Controller at the Marenas Resort in Miami. She was most recently the Assistant Financial Controller for the resort.

Michiel Bakker joins Google in Mountain View as Director, Global Food Services. He is the former Senior Director of Food and Beverage, Europe, Africa & Middle East for Starwood Hotels & Resorts.

Stéphane Lacroix has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage at the Hotel Bel-Air where he is taking over from Nicolas Dubort. He comes from Gilt at the New York Palace where he had been the General Manager since February 2009. Prior to that, he spent ten years at the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco as Director of Wine. Lacroix followed Managing Director Edward Mady from the Ritz-Carlton to the New York Palace to the Bel-Air (Mady is now Regional Vice President for both the Beverly Hills Hotel and the Hotel Bel-Air).

Ana Montano is the new Director of Food and Beverage at the Hyatt Regency Louisville. She is the former Associate Director of Food and Beverage at Hyatt Regency Calgary and the Hyatt Regency Lost Pines Resort & Spa.

Michael Collins is now in Florida as Director of Food and Beverage for the Lodge and Club at Ponte Vedra. He was most recently the Director of Banquets at the Lodge at Sea Island.

Jeff Congdon is the new Director of Food and Beverage for the Grand Bohemian Hotel Asheville. He was most recently serving as Outlets Manager at the Greenbrier.

Jocelyn Kraus has been named Director of Food and Beverage for the Ojai Valley Inn and Spa. She had been with the Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix for the past seven years, most recently as Resort Manager.  

Andres Munoz has moved as Director of Outlets to the Fairmont Chicago Millennium Park. For the past two years, he had been with NoMI in the Park Hyatt Chicago as Restaurant Manager. He is the former Food and Beverage Manager for the Westin River North.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts has appointed Vincent Gillet Global Brand Leader for W Hotels and Le Méridien , replacing Eva Ziegler. For the past three years, Gillet had served as Chief Marketing Officer for Six Senses Resorts & Spas, based in Bangkok.

Lance Peters takes on the post of Director of Marketing at the Four Seasons Dallas at Las Colinas. He joined the resort in 1988 as a Fitness Assistant and had held the post of Director of Sales since 2002.

Jolinda Cohavi takes over from Lisa Gamble-Bailey as Director of Marketing for the Four Seasons Denver and the Four Seasons Vail. She was most recently in the same position at the Four Seasons Dallas at Las Colinas. She joined the company in 2004 as Director of Marketing at the Four Seasons Atlanta.

Sea Island has appointed Alex Gregory Director of Sales and Marketing. For the past three years, he had been with the Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix in the same capacity.

The Maybourne Hotel Group has appointed Jim Bishop Regional Director of Sales for the Americas. Previously, he had served as Senior Sales Manager for the Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C. and the Mandarin Oriental Miami.

Alvaro Valeriani has been named Area Director of Sales and Marketing, Latin America, for Hyatt International. He was most recently serving the company as Area Director of Sales and Marketing UK & Ireland. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the Andaz Liverpool Street London and also served as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo.

Brett Forshag has joined HRI Lodging as Vice President of Sales, based in New Orleans. He is the former Director of Sales for the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel.

The Homestead has appointed Tim Bugas Director of Sales and Marketing. Bugas was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Omni Bedford Springs Resort & Spa.

Isabel Gracia is now in Puerto Rico as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Dorado Beach, a Ritz Carlton Reserve. She is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the Raleigh in Miami and the Gansevoort South.

Ana Fonseca has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the One Bal Harbour Resort & Spa in Miami Beach. She was previously a Global Sales Manager for Amanyara in the Turks and Caicos.

Carmel Valley Ranch has appointed Brian Gipson Director of Sales and Marketing. Gipson most recently served as corporate Director of Marketing at the Grand Del Mar in San Diego.

Mary Hutchcraft is Director of Sales and Marketing at the Reunion Resort in Orlando. She is the former Director of Sales at the Shores Resort & Spa in Daytona Beach Shores.

Elie Kik has been named Director of Sales at the St. Regis New York. He was most recently an Account Director for Starwood Hotels, based in New York.

Mimi Carter has moved to the Villa Florence in San Francisco as Director of Sales. Carter was previously the Director of Sales for the Clift Hotel and Morgans Hotel Group.

Colleen Pace has returned to the Cheyenne Mountain Resort to take on the post of Director of Sales. Earlier in her career, she had served as Director of Account Management for the resort. Most recently, she held the position of Director of Group Sales for the Vail Cascade Resort & Spa.

Ron Gebhardt has been named Director of Sales for the B Ocean Fort Lauderdale. He was most recently the co-owner of Luxury Travel Solutions. Previously, he was complex Director of Sales and Marketing for the Westin Grand Bahama Island & Sheraton Grand Bahama Island at Our Lucaya Resort.

James Steinbach has returned to the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa to take on the post of Director of Group Sales. From 1988-2004, he had served as Director of Sales and Marketing for the resort. He is the former Vice President of Conference Sales for the Vail Valley Partnership.

Rowland Cheeks has been appointed Senior Sales Manager for the Park Hyatt Beaver Creek Resort and Spa. Most recently, Cheeks was the Senior Sales Manager at Cheyenne Mountain Resort.

Beth Lukens has joined the Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina in the British Virgin Islands as Group Sales Manager, based in Tampa. She is a former Sales Manager for the Grand Hyatt Tampa Bay.

Elaina Veveakis has joined the Morgans Hotel Group in New York as Director of Global Sales. She was most recently the Director of National Accounts for Ritz-Carlton Hotels of New York.

Summer Stearns has joined the SLS at Beverly Hills as Director of Catering, replacing George Nickels who moved to the Montage Beverly Hills. Stearns was most recently the Director of Private Events for the London West Hollywood. She had served in catering posts for the Patina Restaurant Group and Lawry's Restaurants.

Christopher Walters has been appointed Director of Public Relations for the Jumeirah Essex House. He was most recently with Harrison & Shriftman Public Relations.

The Four Seasons New York has appointed John Johnson Executive Chef. He was most recently overseeing the kitchens at the Water Club at the Borgata. He is the former Executive Chef of Town.

Mark Arnao returns to the East Coast for a promotion to Executive Chef at his former haunt, the Ritz-Carlton New York Central Park South. He was most recently the Executive Sous Chef at the Ritz-Carlton/JW Marriottt LA Live. He had previously served the Central Park South hotel as Executive Sous Chef before moving as Chef de Cuisine to the Marriott Marquis New York.

Sean O'Connell has moved to Virginia to take over as Executive Chef for the Homestead. He was most recently in Palm Springs overseeing the kitchens of sister property Rancho Las Palmas. He is the former Executive Chef at the Sandals Great Exuma, the Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong and the Banyan Tree Resort in Phuket.

Ashfer Biju rejoins the Taj Pierre to take on the post of Executive Chef. He was previously serving as Executive Sous Chef for the hotel before moving into his most recent position as Executive Chef at the Taj Falaknuma Palace, Hyderabad. He is the former Executive Chef for the Taj Exotica Resort & Spa, Mauritius.

Victor Litkewycz has been appointed Executive Chef at the Hyatt Regency San Francisco. He has been with Hyatt Hotels for over seventeen years, most recently as Executive Chef at the Hyatt Regency Aruba Resort and Casino.

Will Lustberg has been appointed to oversee the kitchens for the Bull & Bear at the Waldorf=Astoria in New York. The CIA graduate joined the hotel in 2000 and is the former Chef Saucier.

David Schmidt has been named Executive Chef at the Enchantment Resort in Sedona. He was most recently in the same post for L'Auberge de Sedona. He is the former Executive Chef at Michael's at the Citadel in Scottsdale.

Pascal Vignau has been named Executive Chef at the Hilton Carlsbad Oceanfront Resort & Spa. For the past eight years, he had served as Chef/Owner of Savory Casual Fare in San Diego. He is the former Executive Chef at the former Four Seasons Aviara.

At Le Bernardin in New York, Laurie Jon Moran takes over pastry for Michael Laiskonis who is the new Creative Director at the Institute of Culinary Education NYC. Moran's résumé includes stints at Le Manoir aux Quat'Saisons, Daniel, Picholine and Thomas Keller's Per Se in New York.

At Jean Georges in New York, Joseph Murphy moves into the Executive Pastry Chef position, taking over from Johnny Iuzzini. The CIA graduate has a résumé that includes Lespinasse, Gotham Bar and Grill, and as Vongerichten's Corporate Pastry Chef.

Jean-Georges Vongerichten's Market in the W Boston has named Sean Prinz General Manager. Prinz was most recently at Vongerichten's J&G Steakhouse in the W Washington, D.C. as Assistant General Manager. He is a former Restaurant Manager at Alain Ducasse's Adour in the St. Regis Washington, D.C.

Kelley Moreton has been named Director of Rooms at the Beverly Wilshire. She was most recently serving as Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Punta Mita.

Rolf Lippuner has been named Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Washington, D.C. He is the former Director of Residences at the Four Seasons Nevis and Director of Housekeeping at former Four Seasons Aviara.

Donovan Alicea has joined the Plaza in New York as Director of Rooms. Most recently, he had been with the Fairmont Copley Plaza in Boston as Director of Rooms after joining the property as Director of Housekeeping.

EUROPE

Relais & Châteaux has named Jean-Francois Ferret Chief Executive Officer. Most recently, he served as Director General of Hertz France.

Klaus Kabelitz has been named General Manager for Le Richemond Geneva taking over from Patrick Mossu who is now overseeing the Nord Anglia Schools in Switzerland. Kabelitz was most recently the General Manager at the Berkeley in London. Le Richemond is now part of the Dorchester Collection.

The Four Seasons London Park Lane has brought in Maria Jagla as Hotel Manager to take over from Annabel Shaw who will be on maternity leave. Jagla has been with the company since 1993, most recently as Resort Manager at the Four Seasons Maui.

David Taylor has been appointed General Manager at Marriott's Edition London set to open next year. Taylor was most recently the General Manager at the Hoxton.

Ian Richardson moves from Acting General Manager to General Manager at the Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel in London. He is the former Revenue Manager for both the Jumeirah Carlton Tower and the Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel.

Kristian Toivanen has joined the SHA Wellness Resort in Alicante as Hotel Manager. Toivanen was most recently Front of House Manager at Claridge's.

Stefan Schwind has joined the Kempinski Gravenbruch in Frankfurt. He is the former General Manager of the Grand Hotel Sofia in Bulgaria.

Adam Dyke has been appointed as General Manager for the Wynyard Hall Country House Hotel in the Tees Valley in England. He was most recently with the Yorebridge House hotel in Bainbridge as General Manager.

Dolce Hotels has promoted Karine Pinson to Vice President, Sales, Europe. She joined the company in 2006 as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Dolce Chantilly and was promoted in 2010 to Regional Director of Sales and Marketing overseeing the Chantilly property, Dolce La Hulpe and the Dolce Sitges in Spain.

Florence Dubois has joined the Hotel Royal Monceau in Paris as Director of Sales and Marketing, taking over from Jean-Marie Le Gall. Since 1996, she had served as Vice President Sales and Marketing at GLA Hotels.

Ludek Louda has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the InterContinental Prague, taking over from Jiri Benes. Most recently, Louda was Director of Sales and Marketing at the Corinthia Nevsky Palace St. Petersburg.

Sabine Renner has joined the Hotel Martinez in Cannes as Director of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently serving as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Grand Millennium Dubai.

Christian Renz has been named Vice President Sales and Marketing at Althoff Hotel & Gourmet Collection. He was most recently serving as Vice President Sales at Kempinski Hotels.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Simon McGrath has been appointed CEO Australia for Accor based in Sydney. He joined Accor in 2005 as General Manager of the Sofitel Reef Casino Cairns and was most recently in the post of Vice President Australia.

Ranjit Phillipose, the General Manager of the Taj Falaknuma Palace, moves over to the same post at the Taj Exotica in the Maldives. Girish Sehgal comes from the General Manager post at Taj Exotica to take over Phillipose's post at Falaknuma Palace.

Kieran Twomey moves over as General Manager to the Shangri-La Bangkok, taking over from Thierry Douin. Twomey was most recently serving as General Manager at the Shangri-La Chengdu. He is the former General Manager of the Shangri-La and Traders Hotel Macau and the Shangri-La Jakarta.

Amit Oberoi has moved to the post of General Manager at the Shangri-La Boracay Resort and Spa in the Philippines. He was most recently the Resident Manager of the Makati Shangri-La Manila. He is the former General Manager of the Imperial Hotel in New Delhi and Resident Manager of the Shangri-La Eros Hotel.

Frédéric Boulin is now at the Park Hyatt Seoul as General Manager. For the past three years, he had been in the same post at the Grand Hyatt Cairo. He is the former General Manager of the Hyatt La Manga in Spain and Resident Manager of the Grand Hyatt Sao Paulo.

Keith Hardie has been appointed General Manager for the Royal Orchid Sheraton Hotel & Tower in Bangkok. He was most recently overseeing Le Royal Méridien, Shanghai and is the former General Manager of the Westin Grande Sukhumvit, Bangkok.

Apichart Asa has been named General Manager of the Outrigger Laguna Phuket Resort and Villas in Thailand. He is the former General Manager of the Metadee Resort in Phuket.

David Macklin moves to the Four Seasons Sydney as Hotel Manager. He was most recently the Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Tokyo at Chinzan-so.

Takuya Kishi takes over from Macklin as Hotel Manager of the Four Seasons Tokyo at Chinzan-so, which will be managed by owner Fujita Kanko Inc. as of January 1, 2013. Kishi was most recently at the Four Seasons Langkawi as Director of Rooms. He is the former Director of Rooms for the Four Seasons Marunouchi. 

Taking over for Maria Jagla at the Four Seasons Maui as Resort Manager is Konrad Gstrein. He was most recently at the Four Seasons Hualalai as Director of Rooms. He is the former Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Philadelphia.

The Four Seasons Singapore has appointed Rizwan Shaikh Hotel Manager. He is the former Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Mumbai and was previously with Oberoi Hotels and Resorts, most recently as General Manager at the Trident Bhubaneswar.

Daniel Grau has been promoted to the position of Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Beijing. Since 2010, he had been serving the hotel as Director of Residences.

The Portman Ritz-Carlton, Shanghai has appointed Charlie Zha Hotel Manager. He was most recently the Executive Assistant Manager of Food and Beverage for the Ritz-Carlton Key Biscayne. He is the former Assistant Director of Food and Beverage for the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey and the Ritz-Carlton Naples.

Serge van Vegten has been appointed Hotel Manager of Langham's 88 Xintiandi in Shanghai. He was most recently serving as Operations Director for Beijing's Schoolhouse hotel.

Vikas Sharma has been named Director of Food and Beverage for the Four Seasons Mumbai. He is the former Food and Beverage Manager for the Oberoi Amarvilas, Agra.

The Regent Singapore has promoted Martin Dell to Director of Food and Beverage. He joined the property in 2010 as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage.

Mali Carrow has been promoted to Director of Food and Beverage and is joining the Four Seasons Landaa Giraavaru in the Maldives. Carrow has been with the company in food and beverage posts since 2000, most recently as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Washington, D.C.

Vanessa Williams has joined the Sukhothai in Bangkok as Executive Assistant Manager in charge of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently in the same post for Sandy Lane. She is the former Hotel Manager at the L'Ermitage Beverly Hills and Director of Sales and Marketing at the Mandarin-Oriental Hong Kong.

Samantha Spurgeon is the new Director of Sales and Marketing for the Westin Maui Resort & Spa and the Westin Ka'anapali Ocean Resort Villas. She was most recently overseeing sales and marketing at the W Los Angeles.

The Four Seasons Sydney has named Jess Ong Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Chef for the Singapore International Convention and Exhibition Center and at the Sofitel Sydney Wentworth.

Weimar Gomez has been promoted to Executive Chef to join the Four Seasons Pudong in Shanghai. He was most recently serving as Executive Sous Chef at the Four Seasons George V.

Blair Mathieson has been appointed Executive Chef for the Siam Bangkok slated to open in June. He is the former Executive Chef of the Chedi Chiang Mai and the Singapore Cricket Club.

Peppers Beach Club & Spa has appointed Vanessa Grace Executive Chef. She was most recently serving as Executive Chef at the former Peppers Palm Bay in the Whitsundays and the Great Barrier Reef's Heron Island Resort.

Khamtan Tanhchaleun has joined the food and beverage team at the Hilo Hawaiian Hotel following the retirement of Piet Wigmans. Tanhchaleun had been with the Hawaii Prince Hotel and Golf Club since 1990. He was the opening Chef de Cuisine for La Mer at Halekulani.

MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Nick Clayton has joined Jumeirah as Chief Operating Officer. Since September 2006, he had been the President of the Viceroy Group, following five years as Vice President Operations for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group and a stint as General Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Millenia Singapore.

Ellerman House in Cape Town has promoted Nick Dreyer to Managing Director. He joined the property in 2003 as General Manager. Ella Cuyler moves up from her current post at the hotel of Hospitality Manager to take over Dreyer's post of General Manager.

Renzo Cavagliotti has been appointed General Manager at the InterContinental Doha The City. He is the former General Manager of the InterContinental Muscat, the Regency InterContinental Bahrain and the InterContinental Le Vendôme in Beirut.

Mark Kirk moves over as General Manager of the Shangri-La's Barr Al Jissa Resort and Spa in Oman. He was most recently managing the Shangri-La Boracay Resort and Spa in the Philippines.

Khazza Khamis has moved to the Radisson Blu Hotel, Dubai Downtown as General Manager. He was most recently in the same role at the Radisson Blu Residence, Dubai Marina.

Rob Collier takes over from Khamis at the Radisson Blu Residence, Dubai Marina as General Manager. Collier is the former General Manager of the Radisson Blu Airport Hotel, Manchester.

The Jumeirah Group has appointed Adrian Bradley Chief Financial Officer to succeed Alaister Murray. Bradley was most recently with Hilton International as Managing Director for London and Regional Hotels in the UK. He had previously served in a variety of finance roles with PepsiCo and Millicom in South East Asia.

The Mövenpick Al Bida'a Kuwait has named Mario Bassil Food and Beverage Director. He is the former Food and Beverage Manager at the Marina Hotel Kuwait.

Miguel Melo has been named Director of Food and Beverage for the Sheraton Doha. He was most recently in the same position for the Hilton Kuala Lumpur.

The Al Bustan Rotana Dubai has appointed Bilal Mehdi Director of Human Resources. He was most recently the Director of Human Resources for the Fujairah Rotana Resort and Spa.

The Jumeirah Group has promoted Ross McAuley to Vice President, Brand Marketing. He has been with the company since 2007, most recently as Director of Marketing Dubai.

Shaf Butt takes over from McAuley as Director of Marketing Dubai at Jumeirah. He had recently been overseeing marketing rooms for the company based in Dubai.

The Park Hyatt Dubai has appointed Angela Christodoulopoulou Director of Sales and Marketing. She joined Hyatt Hotels in 1995 and was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Hyatt Regency Thessaloniki.

Detria Williamson Chapman has been named Director of Marketing and Public Relations for the Burj Al Arab in Dubai. She had previously served in marketing posts for Media Zone Authority and Discovery Channel Networks.

Antoine Perray has been appointed Executive Chef for the Palais Namaskar in Marrakech. He was most recently with the MGM Grand Macau.
