THE AMERICAS

Kerzner International has promoted Alan Leibman to Chief Executive Officer, while Sol Kerzner remains as Chairman. Leibman has been with the company since 1994, most recently as Regional President of Europe, Africa and the Middle East.

Succeeding Angela Brav (who has been promoted with InterContinental to President of the Europe region) is Robert Morse, now Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Americas region, based in Atlanta. He was most recently with Noble Investment Group as Managing Principal and Chief Operating Officer. He is the former Chief Operating Officer for Interstate Hotels & Resorts.

Denihan Hospitality Group has promoted David Duncan to the newly created role of President. He joined the company in 2003 as Chief Financial Officer.

Paul Whetsell has been named Chief Executive Officer of Loews Hotels. He was most recently the Executive Director of Virgin Hotels for just over a year. Whetsell is also a former Chief Executive Officer of CapStar.

William "Chip" Sander has been named Executive Vice President and Director of Operations of Seagate Hospitality Group while remaining the General Manager of the Seagate Hotel & Spa. He is the former General Manager of XV Beacon in Boston and Director of Room Operations at the Charles Hotel in Cambridge.

At Four Seasons, Bob Dunigan has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Shared Services. He joined Four Seasons when the company took over management of the Ocean Grand in Palm Beach, where he was the Controller. At the Corporate Office, he was the Director of Internal Audit from 2002 to 2005 and the Vice President of Operations Analysis until 2011.

Thomas McCartney has joined the Cosmopolitan Las Vegas in the newly created role of Chief Operating Officer. McCartney was most recently the President and Chief Operating Officer of the Tropicana Las Vegas. He is the former Chief Executive Officer of Planet Hollywood and had held executive positions at MGM Resorts properties.

The Sky Lodge in Park City has appointed Zachary Frangos General Manager. Frangos was most recently the opening General Manager of the Escala Lodge in Park City.

Donald Stamets has moved to the Island Hotel in Newport Beach as General Manager, replacing Rick Evanich who has left the company. Stamets was most recently at sister property the Resort at Pelican Hill as Resident Manager. He is the former Hotel Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Palm Beach and the Ritz-Carlton South Beach.

San Francisco's Inn at The Presidio has named Terry Haney General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of the Hotel Rex and is the former Director of Operations of the W San Francisco.

Christian Langlade is the General Manager of Le Sereno in St. Barthélémy, following a two-year stint in a similar position for the Hotel Christopher. Langlade also served as Project Director at Sandy Lane and Executive Assistant Manager at the Ciragan Palace Kempinski in Istanbul.

Raymond Vermolen takes over from Ed Andrews as General Manager of the InterContinental Chicago. Ed Andrews takes over from Vermolen as General Manager of the InterContinental Houston.

Debra Rosenberg Matsumoto has been named General Manager for the Hotel Wilshire. She was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for the JW Marriott Santa Monica Le Merigot.

Marriott has named Robert Bray Area General Manager and General Manager of the New Orleans Marriott. For the past seven years, he had served as General Manager at the Renaissance St. Louis Grand & Suites. He is the former General Manager of the Renaissance Père Marquette and the Renaissance Arts, both in New Orleans.

Jim Mikula has been named Managing Director of the Hotel Madeline Telluride and sister property the Inn at Los Creek. He spent eleven years with Four Seasons, ending as Area Director of Marketing, Asia Pacific region. Most recently, he was the General Manager at the Boot Ranch in Fredericksburg, Texas.

The Nita Lake Lodge in Whistler has appointed Roger Soane General Manager. Most recently, Soane was with Fairmont as General Manager of the Fairmont Chateau Whistler.

Oscar Henquet has been named General Manager of Richard Gere's Bedford Post Inn. He had most recently been the General Manager of Graydon Carter's Monkey Bar, where his successor is Belinda Chang. Henquet also was the opening General Manager of Rouge Tomate.

Xavier Moulin has been promoted to Director of Operations- Hotels for SBE Hotel Group. He is the former General Manager of the SBE-run Redbury Hotel in Hollywood. He also previously spent three years with Personality Hotels in San Francisco.

Taking over from Xavier Moulin as General Manager of the Redbury is David Lang. He is a former General Manager at Le Montrose in West Hollywood. He also was the Director of Operations at Viceroy's Chamberlain and Director of Rooms at Joie de Vivre's Hotel Angeleno.

Wayne Malagon has been promoted to General Manager for the Woodlands Inn, taking over from Casey Lavin. He joined the resort in 2010 to oversee food and beverage. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Palms Hotel and Spa in Miami and the Loews Miami Beach Hotel.

Nathalie Urban has been promoted to General Manager of the Presidente InterContinental Cancun Resort. She had been recently serving the resort as Resort Manager/Acting General Manager after spending three years as Director of Sales and Marketing.

The Hyatt Regency Curaçao has appointed Flor van der Vaart General Manager. He was most recently overseeing the Aruba Marriott.

Tim Block has been named General Manager of the Hotel de Luxe in Portland. He was most recently overseeing the Inn at Red Hills in the Oregon Wine Country. Block is the former General Manager of the Freestone Inn and the Hotel Vintage Park in Seattle.

Elizabeth Mao is the new General Manager of the Gramercy Park Hotel. She is the former General Manager at 60 Thompson.

Nancy Rocker has been appointed General Manager of the Hotel Indigo in St. Petersburg, Florida. Most recently she served as General Manager of the Suburban Extended Stay Hotel Melbourne. 

At Four Seasons, Mary Sullivan has been promoted to Senior Vice President, Corporate Human resources. She was part of the company's corporate human resources function for the past four years and previously worked for Imax Corporation.

Regie Brown has been named General Manager of the Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad Beach. He takes over from Bob Moore, who was promoted to Vice President and General Manager to oversee both the Hilton Garden Inn Carlsbad and the new Hilton Carlsbad Oceanfront Resort & Spa, opening in July. Brown was most recently the Rooms Executive at the Island Hotel and is the former Resident Manager at Rancho Valencia.

Rabin Ortiz has been named General Manager of the Copamarina Beach Resort. The Cornell graduate is a former General Manager at the Sonesta Maho Beach Resort & Casino in St. Maarten and the Cuisinart Resort and Spa in Anguilla.

Daniel Kuperschmid has moved as General Manager to the Hyatt Regency Newport Beach. He was most recently with the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque as General Manager.

Taking over from Kuperschmid at the Hyatt Regency Albuquerque is Diego Concha, who was most recently overseeing the Hyatt Regency Curaçao.

Michael Rock has been named General Manager at the Ritz-Carlton South Beach. He was most recently on Oahu, opening the (former) Waikiki EDITION.

Gerard Denneny has transferred to New York as Hotel Manager of the Jumeirah Essex House. He was most recently in the same post in London at the Jumeirah Carlton Tower. He is the former Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Dublin and General Manager of the Morrison, also in Dublin.

Reed Kandalaft has been appointed Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, leaving the hot city of Damascus where he had held a similar position since 2010. He originally joined Four Seasons at the Four Seasons Hawaii Hualalai in 2008 as Director of Rooms.

Kari Koskela has returned to the Four Seasons Vancouver as Hotel Manager, following a two-year stint as General Manager of the Metropolitan Vancouver. He is also a former Hotel Manager of the Ritz-Carlton Washington, D.C.

Cindy Mastrella has been promoted to General Manager of the Spruce Point Inn in Boothbay Harbor, Maine. She originally joined the property in 2005 as Director of Sales.

The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island has promoted Bill Lacey to Hotel Manager. He joined the resort in 2004 as Rooms Division Manager and had been the Executive Assistant Manager for the past four years.

James Roberts has been appointed Hotel Manager for the Hotel Duval in Tallahassee. He was the Rooms Division Manager for the Emerald Grande at HarborWalk Village in Destin.

Sam Basu has joined the St. Regis Bahia Beach in Puerto Rico as Director of Operations. He was most recently with the Trump Ocean Club Hotel and International Tower in Panama in a similar post.

Edwin Kramer has been promoted to the position of Resort Manager at Carlisle Bay, part of Campbell Gray Hotels, where he was previously the Corporate Director of Bars and Restaurants. Kramer previously served as Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Damascus.

Michael Mettler has joined the Marriott Marina del Rey as Director of Operations. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing for the InterContinental Mark Hopkins in San Francisco.

Gabriel Hernaez has joined Banyan Tree Hotels and Resorts in Playa del Carmen as Area Financial Controller. Since 2004, he had been with Four Seasons, most recently as Business Manager at the Four Seasons Atlanta. He is the former Assistant Director of Finance of the Four Seasons Mexico City and Controller at the Four Seasons Carmelo.

Michael Kreuger joins SilverBirch Hotels and Resorts as Senior Vice President, Finance and Accounting. He was most recently the Vice President and Controller of the Forzani Group in Canada and was previously the Corporate Controller at Nike Canada.

Brooke Gardner has transferred to the Four Seasons Las Vegas as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same post for the Four Seasons New York. Gardner is also the former Director of Food and Beverage of the Four Seasons Westlake Village, the Four Seasons Los Angeles at Beverly Hills and the Four Seasons Atlanta.

James Stuart has been named Director of Food and Beverage for both the Soho Grand and Tribeca Grand Hotels. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage for the Cooper Square Hotel and the Bowery Hotel.

Sean Hubbard is now in Oakland, overseeing food and beverage for the Claremont Resort and Spa. He was most recently with Shutters on the Beach as Director of Operations and Resident Manager. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Fairmont Orchid and Director of Catering and Conference Services at the Fairmont Kansas City.

Chris DeChillo has been promoted to Food and Beverage Director at the Four Seasons Denver, from the position of Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Dallas.

Sabine Glissmann has joined the New York Palace as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. She is the former Director of Food and Beverage for the Omni Berkshire Place, Halekulani in Honolulu and the Park Hyatt Hamburg.

Colan Vance has been named Director of Food and Beverage at the Round Hill Hotel and Villas in Montego Bay. He was last doing development for Ark Restaurants in Washington, D.C. and New York. Before that, Vance worked at the French Laundry and the Inn at Little Washington.

Antonio Recillas has moved to Fisher Island as Director of Food and Beverage. For the past two years, he had served in the same capacity for the Mandarin Oriental Miami. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage of the Naples Grande Beach Resort.

Joe Orichiella has joined the Island Hotel in Newport Beach as Director of Food and Beverage. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage of the Conrad Chicago, the Pheasant Run Resort and the former Ritz-Carlton Huntington Hotel. Most recently, he had served as Assistant General Manager at the Toll House Hotel in Los Gatos.

Adam Martindale follows his former General Manager, Kathleen Cochran, to join the Bacara Resort & Spa as Director of Food and Beverage. He had previously served with Cochran at the Loews Coronado Bay Resort as Director of Food and Beverage. He is a former Director of Food and Beverage at Norwegian Cruise Lines.

Rajesh Radke has joined the St. Regis Aspen as Director of Food and Beverage. He comes from the Thunder Valley Casino Resort following a ten-year tenure with Four Seasons in Austin, Washington, D.C., the Bahamas and Singapore.

Casey Lavin has joined Sea Island as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently the General Manager of the Woodlands Inn in South Carolina. Lavin has previously overseen food and beverage for the Greenbrier and the Sanctuary at Kiawah Island.

Christian Amestoy has moved within the Jean-Georges Restaurant Group to take over as Director of Food and Beverage at the Mark in New York. He has been with the company since 2001, serving as Assistant General Manager of Jean Georges, General Manager of Vong and Service Director of the (defunct) V Steak House by Jean-Georges.

Vern Lakusta is now in Pasadena as Director of Food and Beverage for the Langham Huntington Hotel and Spa. He was most recently in the same position for the W Hotel Westwood. He is the former General Manager of Gordon Ramsay at The London in West Hollywood.

Anette Grecchi-Gray has joined Red Lobster Restaurants in Orlando as Corporate Culinary Director. She was most recently in Houston with Central Market, H-E-B as Foodservice Director. She is a former Corporate Executive Chef of TGI Fridays Restaurant Group.

Till Grob was named Director of Operations for the Tinley Park Convention Center outside of Chicago. Previously, he was a District General Manager for Eurest Dining Services, Director of Food and Beverage for the Sheraton and the Hard Rock Hotel Chicago.

Jonathan Winebrenner has been named Director of Human Resources at the Mandarin Oriental Washington, D.C. He was most recently in a similar position at the Greenbrier, following two years as General Manager of the Boca Bay Pass Club.

Greg Hanss has joined MetWest Terra Hospitality as Vice President Sales and Marketing. For the past five years, he had been serving as Director of Sales and Marketing for the Montelucia Resort and Spa in Arizona. He is the former Director of Marketing of the Four Seasons Scottsdale, Director of Sales and Marketing for the St. Regis Aspen and Director of Sales at the Phoenician.

Canyon Ranch has named Tracey Anne Latkovic Vice President of Sales. She was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the St. Regis Monarch Beach.

John Yeadon has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Hyatt Regency Minneapolis. He is a former Sales Manager at the Hyatt Regency Indianapolis and previously served as Associate Director of Sales at the Hyatt Regency Denver and the Grand Hyatt Denver.

The Westin Resort & Casino Aruba has named Michele Frank Director of Sales and Marketing. She most recently served as Director of Sales at the Westin Diplomat Golf Resort & Spa. Frank is also the former Associate Director of Sales at the St. Regis Fort Lauderdale.

Katie Donald makes a big change to join the W Hoboken New Jersey as Director of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently in New Zealand, as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Westin Auckland.

The Borgata Hotel Casino announced the appointment of Bernie Sefcik as its new Director of Hotel Sales.  He was most recently the National Sales Manager for the Atlantic City Convention and Visitors Authority.

Tommy Chow has moved to the Millenium Biltmore as Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently in the same post with the Wilshire Grand Los Angeles. Chow had previously held sales and marketing positions for the Sofitel Los Angeles and the Beverly Hilton.

Danielle Dymond-Luther has moved to New York's Alex Hotel as Director of Sales and Marketing. She most recently held the same role for the Sofitel New York. She had previously served in sales and marketing positions for the InterContinental The Barclay and the InterContinental Times Square.

Taking over for Dymond-Luther as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Sofitel New York is Ruztique Toscano, who was most recently the Director of Group Sales for Millennium Hotels of New York.

Lesliann Kuhn has been appointed Director of Sales and Marketing for the Fairmont Vancouver Airport, returning to the hotel, which she helped open in 1999. Most recently, she had been the Director of Business Travel for the Fairmont Vancouver, the Fairmont Pacific Rim and the Fairmont Waterfront.

Kelly Teo takes over from Michael Mettler as Director of Sales and Marketing at the Ritz-Carlton Marina del Rey. Teo was most recently the Director of Group Sales for the Ritz-Carlton San Francisco. He is the former Director of Group Sales for the InterContinental Mark Hopkins.

Jean Spaulding has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. Since 2006, she had been with the Noble Investment Group as Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing.

Kenan Simmons has joined the Grand del Mar as Executive Director of Marketing. He was most recently the Vice President Sales for the Americas for The Leading Hotels of the World with whom he spent sixteen years.

The Bahamas' Grand Lucayan Resort has named Thomas Anderson Chief Marketing Officer. Since 2008, he has served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and Development for Coral Hospitality in Florida.

Shannon Spillett has been named City Director of Marketing for Kimpton Hotels in New York. She was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing for the Eventi and is a former Regional Director of Group Sales for the Morgans Hotel Group.

Elite Meetings International has appointed John Washko Vice President, Sales and Marketing. He was most recently the Vice President of Sales and Marketing at the Broadmoor, where he spent nine years, following seven years at Kerzner's Atlantis.

Amy Grayson has been promoted to Director of Sales at the Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. Since 2008, she had served the hotel as a Senior Account Executive. She is the former Assistant Director of Sales for the Conrad Indianapolis.

Erik Dombroski has been named Director of Sales for the Topnotch Resort & Spa. For the past three years, he had been with MetWest Terra Hospitality.

The Montage Beverly Hills has named Remy Papazian West Coast Sales Director. Papazian was most recently with the Ritz-Carlton & JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes as Senior Manager Travel Industry Sales, based in New York City.

Kathy Werhan has been appointed Senior Sales Manager for the Ritz-Carlton New Orleans. She was most recently in a similar post at the Ritz-Carlton Lodge Reynolds Plantation.

Gregory Kerr is now in Chicago at the Hotel Sax as Senior Sales Manager. He was most recently with the Taj Boston as Associate Director of Transient Sales. Kerr had previously served in sales positions for the Ritz-Carlton Lake Las Vegas and the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel.

Maria Ordóñez-Maloney has been named Sales Manager at the Hyatt 48 Lex. She was most recently with the Hilton New York Fashion District as Associate Director of Sales.

George Nickels is joining Montage Hotels & Resorts to head up Catering and Conference Services, based at the Montage Beverly Hills. He comes from the SLS at Beverly Hills and was previously at the Resort at Pelican Hill.

The Trump SoHo has named Barbara Thibault-Simon Director of Catering. She was most recently the Director of Catering and Diplomatic Protocol Service at the InterContinental New York Barclay. She had previously served in catering positions with the Ritz-Carlton Westchester and the New York Palace.

Bysheena Jackson is the new Director of Meetings and Events at the Trump SoHo. Jackson was most recently the Director of Events at the Millennium Broadway.

The Enchantment Group has named Julia Thorn Director of Communications. She is the former Director of Marketing and Communications for the Arizona Biltmore. Most recently, she served as Director of Marketing for Eddie V's Restaurants.

Sage Hospitality has named Jennifer Long Director of Interactive Marketing. She comes from Millennium Hotels and Resorts where she had been the Director of E-Commerce since 2008.

Mustafa Abbas has been named Director of Revenue Management at Loews Hotels. He was most recently the Director of Revenue at Turnberry Isle.

Chris Nelbach has been named Director of Revenue Management at the Hotel Contessa in San Antonio. He is the former Director of Revenue Management for the Hotel Derek in Houston.  

Benjamin Bailly has joined the Cliff's Edge restaurant in Los Angeles as Chef de Cuisine. He was most recently with Fraîche in Culver City as Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Chef at Petrossian in West Hollywood.

Jorge Chicas has moved to the Andaz West Hollywood as Executive Chef. He was most recently in a similar position at the SLS Beverly Hills.

Thomas Lents has joined Sixteen at the Trump International Chicago as Executive Chef de Cuisine. For the past two years, he had been in Las Vegas as Chef de Cuisine for Restaurant Joel Robuchon. He is the former Chef de Cuisine of Quince in San Francisco.

Vincent Muraco has been appointed Executive Chef for the Andaz 5th Avenue. He is the former Executive Chef of the Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach, the Grove Isle Resort and Spa and the Hotel Victor, both in Miami.

Scott Dolbee has been named Executive Chef for L'Auberge Del Mar's KITCHEN 1540. Since 2008, he had been the Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Whistler. He is the former Chef de Cuisine of Blvd in the Beverly Wilshire Hotel.

Jonathan Waxman has signed on as a consultant and Chef in Residence of the Rosa Mexicano chain. Waxman, who opened Barbuto in the Meatpacking District, was one of the original California Cuisine poster children when he cooked at Santa Monica's Michael's.

Erwin Joven has joined Cotton House as Executive Chef. He is the former Sous Chef for Amanyara and Rancho Bernardo Inn.

Robert Ash has been named as Executive Chef for the Omni Orlando Resort at ChampionsGate. He is the former Executive Chef of the Pfister and the InterContinental Milwaukee.

Taylor Boudreaux is the new Executive Chef at the Napa Valley Grille in Westwood. He had previously served in the kitchens for Mastro's Steakhouse, Citizen Smith and Wolfgang Puck Worldwide.

The Hilton Sedona Resort and Spa has appointed Salvatore Moscato as Executive Chef. He is the former Chef at Casa Dante in Jersey City.

Desi Szonntagh is the new Executive Chef of the Airtel Plaza Hotel & Conference Center in Van Nuys. He was most recently in the same position at JW Marriott Santa Monica Le Merigot. He is the former Executive Sous Chef at the Hotel Bel-Air and Chef de Cuisine for Shutters on the Beach.

Jean-Francois Suteau is now at the Greenbrier as Executive Pastry Chef. For the past four years, he had been in the same position for the Beverly Hills Hotel. He is the former Executive Pastry Chef of the Adolphus in Dallas.

Shaun Henesy has joined the Ritz-Carlton Washington, D.C. as General Manager for the West End Bistro. Prior to his most recent post as Director of Food and Beverage for Chateau Elan, he had served as Director of Restaurants for the JW Marriott Washington, D.C. and the Renaissance Washington, D.C.

Brian Twomey has been named Assistant General Manager at the Hyatt 48 Lex in New York. He was most recently the Director of Housekeeping at the W Times Square and held similar positions at the Grand Hyatt New York and the Hotel Victor in Miami Beach.
 
Sandrine Langlade has joined Le Sereno on St. Barts as Rooms Division Manager. She was most recently overseeing sales and marketing at the nearby Hotel Christopher. Langlade is also a former Assistant Director of Sales for the InterContinental Geneva.

EUROPE

Robert Cook, former Chief Executive Officer of Malmaison and Hotel du Vin, has been appointed Chief Executive Officer of De Vere Village while Gary Davis, former Chief Executive Officer of De Vere Group, has been appointed to fill Cook's position.

Angela Brav has been promoted with InterContinental Hotels Group to President of the Europe region. She was most recently the Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer for the Americas.

Marco Metge has been appointed Acting General Manager of the Jumeirah Grand Hotel via Veneto in Rome. Since 2010, he had served as Director of Operations for the Jumeirah Frankfurt.

Felipe Espinoza Calderon has joined the Forte Village Resort in Sicily as General Manager. He was most recently the Director of Asset Management and Ownership Representation of GrupoDema. He is a former Chief Operating Officer of Francis Ford Coppola Resorts.

Christian Dangel has been appointed General Manager of the Steigenberger Bellerive au Lac in Zurich, taking over from Nathalie Grisoni. Dangel was most recently overseeing the Park Inn by Radisson in Sofia, Bulgaria.

Christopher Peach has been appointed General Manager of the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bristol. He was most recently the Executive Assistant Manager of the Park Inn by Radisson Pribaltiyskaya in St. Petersburg.

Thomas Legner has been promoted to General Manager of the InterContinental Vienna. He joined the hotel a year ago as Hotel Manager. He is the former Hotel Manager of the Four Seasons Washington, D.C. and Resort Manager of the Four Seasons Nevis.

Jesper Henriksen is the new General Manager at the Radisson Royal Moscow. He was most recently overseeing the Radisson Blu Gautrain Hotel in Johannesburg.

Jürgen Sziegoleit has joined the Grand Hotel Le Méridien Nuremberg. He was most recently running Le Méridien Dom Hotel Cologne.

Thatcher Brown has moved to Italy to join Costa Crociere for Carnival Cruises in Genoa as Senior VP Marketing. For the past two years, the Cornell graduate had been with Jumeirah as Vice President Brand Strategy and Management. He is the former Director of Sales and Marketing at the Jumeirah Essex House.

Sergi Arola, the two-Michelin-starred chef, will open a restaurant at the forthcoming W Paris – Opéra similar to his Barcelona project Arola. He now has restaurants in Spain, Chile, Portugal and France. Next year, he will work with W Hotels on a restaurant in Verbier, Switzerland.

Peter Finamore has joined Regent International as Senior Vice President Operations and Managing Director of the Regent Taipei. He was most recently overseeing Rosewood's hotels al Faisalah and al Khozama in Ryiadh.

Carlson Hotels has appointed Vasso Zographou Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer for Asia Pacific. He was most recently the joint Managing Director of Horwath HTL Australia.

Ingo Schweder has formed GOCO Hospitality as Founder and Chief Executive Officer. He is the former Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer at Spatality and had previously served as Group Director – Spa for the Mandarin Oriental Hotel Group.

Sanjiv Hulugalle will be the opening General Manager of the Four Seasons Beijing, after almost three years as General Manager of the Four Seasons Maldives Kuda Huraa. A fifteen-year Four Seasons man, Hulugalle also served as Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Damascus.

Tulio Hochkoeppler, formerly the Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons San Francisco, has been promoted to General Manager of the Four Seasons Maldives at Kuda Huraa. A Cornell graduate, he also served as Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Miami.

Ulf Bremer has moved as General Manager to the Pudong Shangri-La. He was most recently in the same position at Shangri-La's Far Eastern Plaza in Taipei. Bremer is the former General Manager of the Shangri-La Tanjung Aru Resort Kota Kinabalu in Malaysia.

Marcel Holman is the new General Manager of the Shangri-La Far Eastern Plaza Hotel in Taipei. He was most recently the General Manager of the Shangri-La Hotel Wuhan.

Michael Murphy has been appointed General Manager of the Howard Johnson Three Gorges Hotel Chengdu, opening this year. He was previously the Chief Operating Officer and General Manager for the Landison Tourism Group, Hotel Manager of the Regal Airport Hotel Hong Kong and Executive Assistant Manager of the Lyford Cay Club.

Jan Marshall has been appointed General Manager of the Pullman Jakarta. He rejoins Accor after several years with JAL Hotels.

Ankush Mahajan is the new General Manager of the Oberoi Amarvillas in Agra. He was most recently the General Manager at the Oberoi Zahra.

Walter Hess has joined the Nam Hai in Vietnam as Resident Manager. He was most recently with the One&Only Reethi Rah in the Maldives as Executive Assistant Manager Rooms. Hess is the former Director of Residences at the Four Seasons Nevis and Assistant Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Costa Rica.

Fredrik Blomqvist has been promoted from Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Guangzhou to Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Shanghai. He also served as Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons Dublin and Hotel Manager at the Four Seasons Philadelphia.

The Evason Ma'In Hot Springs & Six Senses Spa appointed Fadi Aziz Sweidan Food and Beverage Director. He was most recently the General Manager for Eastotels in Egypt.

Simon Song has been appointed Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Maldives at Kuda Huraa. He hails from Amanresorts in Hangzhou after several years at the Four Seasons Singapore in various culinary capacities.

J. Scott Robison has been named Director of Sales and Marketing at the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua. He was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing at the Ritz-Carlton Tysons Corner. Robison is the former Director of Sales for the Lansdowne Resort.

MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Taking over from Peter Finamore is Erich Steinbock who has been promoted with Rosewood Hotels and Resorts to Regional Vice President in Saudi Arabia. Steinbock was most recently the Area Managing Director at the Carlyle. Steinbock spent nine years with Ritz-Carlton prior to joining Rosewood in 2009.

Johannes Van Der Putten will become Hilton Worldwide's Vice President for Africa & Indian Ocean. A Lausanne graduate, he has over twenty five years experience with Hilton in such countries as Sweden, Denmark, Belgium, Malta, Malaysia as well as Ethiopia where he spent two years as General Manager at the Hilton Addis Ababa. He joins the company's MEA senior team from the Netherlands where he was Area General Manager Benelux.

InterContinental Hotels Group has promoted Pascal Gauvin to Chief Operating Officer for India, the Middle East and Africa, taking over from John Bamsey who is retiring. Gauvin has been with the group for nineteen years, most recently as Vice President Operations, Near East & Africa.

Anantara Hotels, Resorts & Spas has appointed Michel Koopman Director of Operations for the Middle East as well as General Manager for the Eastern Mangroves Hotel & Spa by Anantara, opening in 2012. He joins his new group from InterContinental where he was a Regional General Manager based in China.

Mauritius' One&Only Le Saint Géran has named Charles de Foucault General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of the Ayana Bali, the former Ritz-Carlton Bali. De Foucault was previously with Ritz-Carlton for over seventeen years, most recently as General Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Seoul.

Paul Van Frank has been appointed Managing Director of Frégate Island Private in the Seychelles, taking over from Interim General Manager Ian Barbour. For the past two years, Van Frank served as General Manager of Shanti Maurice in Mauritius.

Mark Griffiths has been appointed General Manager of the Messilah Beach Hotel and Spa in Kuwait, expected to open in 2012. He was most recently with Majid Al Futtaim properties in Dubai as Vice President Asset Management Hospitality.

The Concorde Fujairah has appointed Mohamed Fekry General Manager. He was most recently the Hotel Manager at the City Seasons Suites Dubai.

Shaun Parsons has been appointed General Manager at Le Royal Méridien Abu Dhabi. He is the former Executive Assistant Manager - Food & Beverage and Complex Hotel Manager for the Westin Dubai and Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina.

Richard Branson's Kasbah Tamadot outside Marrakesh has a new General Manager, Vincent Padioleau and an Assistant General Manager, Kathryn White. Padioleau was promoted at the resort from his most recent position as Deputy General Manager. White was previously Front of House Manager at Virgin-run the Lodge in Verbier.

Rocco Bova has joined the Lux Le Morne Resort in Mauritius as Resident Manager. He had previously served as Director of Food and Beverage at Al Bustan Palace InterContinental in Oman.

Wael Amer has been appointed Resident Manager of the Hurghada Marriott Beach Resort in Egypt. He is the former Resident Manager of the Taba Heights Marriott.

José Antonio Medronho has joined the Ritz-Carlton Bahrain as Executive Assistant Manager Food and Beverage. He was most recently in the same position for the JW Marriott Bogota. He had held similar posts with the InterContinental San Salvador and Reid's Palace in Portugal.

The Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi has appointed Manuel Santos Food and Beverage Manager. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at Sandals Resorts.

Daniela Skopnik is the new Director of Sales and Marketing at the Four Seasons Cairo First Residence. She spent six years with Four Seasons in Egypt from 2000 to 2006 and also worked for InterContinental and Accor.

At the Four Seasons Damascus, Aboud Haboury has been promoted to Director of Marketing. He had been the property's Director of Sales since 2007, after serving as Director Catering.

Nuvianto Widyatmoko has joined the St. Regis Abu Dhabi as Director of Engineering. He was most recently in the same post for the Banyan Tree Desert Spa and Resort Al Areen in Bahrain.

Matthew Cropp is the new Executive Chef at the Rosewood Riyadh. He was most recently the Executive Chef at the Trident Hotel Mumbai.

The Grand Millennium Dubai has named Corrado Pani Executive Chef. He is the former Executive Chef of the Beach Rotana Hotel & Towers in Abu Dhabi and Le Méridien Mina Seyahi.
