Increase in visits after China expands visa-free travel to 6 countries Wednesday, 29th November 2023
China has announced that it will expand the scope of its unilateral visa-free policy for ordinary passport holders from six countries, the move is expected to promote the recovery of the Chinese inbound tourism market.
Compared with the rapid recovery of domestic and outbound tourism, the recovery of inbound tourism is relatively slower. However, inbound tourism is where new opportunities lie. Is Booking.com’s Genius Program The Final Nail in The Coffin for Hoteliers? Wednesday, 29th November 2023
On 3 separate occasions last week, I directly emailed industry colleagues at hotels to inquire about rates. On all 3 occasions, their 'friendly offer' was above that of the booking.com rate when the genius program kicked in.
