Azarbarzin is the former President/Chief Operating Officer of Proper Hospitality, President – Hotel Group – at sbe Entertainment, and President of the Sahara Hotel and Casino.

Alexandra Walterspiel has joined Sensei as Chief Operating Officer. She was most recently the Managing Partner and Co-Founder of IMPRINT Hospitality. Walterspiel had previously spent 6 years with Sage Hospitality Resources as Vice President Independent Hotels and is the former General Manager of the Clift Hotel in San Francisco.

Marriott International has named Tony Capuano Chief Executive Officer. He was most recently serving the company as Group President, Global Development, Design and Operations Services.

Stephanie Linnartz has been named President of Marriott International. Linnartz was previously serving the company as Group President, Consumer Operations, Technology and Emerging Businesses.

Both Capuano and Linnartz were promoted in the wake of Arne Sorenson’s death from pancreatic cancer.

Noah Brodsky has been named President of the Travel + Leisure Group (formerly Wyndham Destinations) and will retain his current role of Chief Brand Officer. The Cornell graduate had previously served the Wyndham Hotel Group as Senior Vice President, Worldwide Loyalty and Engagement and Vice President, Sales Innovation.

Eugene Leonard is now in California as General Manager of the Maybourne Beverly Hills. He was most recently the Hotel Manager at Claridge’s in London. Leonard is also the former Hotel Manager of the Connaught Hotel.

Tulio Hochkoeppler has been named Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Four Seasons Mexico City. The Cornell graduate is the former General Manager of the Four Seasons Kuda Huraa and the Four Seasons Buenos Aires.

The Auberge Resorts Collection Hotel Jerome has named Patrick Davila General Manager. He was most recently the Director of Operations and served as Interim General Manager at Meadowood in Napa Valley.

Peter Schreurs has been named General Manager of the Sonesta Denver Downtown. He was most recently the Director of Operations of the Royal Sonesta Houston. Schreurs is the former Director of Operations of the Le Méridien Dallas by the Galleria and Director of Rooms of the Westin Riverwalk San Antonio.

Nicholas Farina has been named opening General Manager for the 1 Hotel Nashville. He was most recently the General Manager of 1 Hotel Central Park. Farina is the former Hotel Manager of the Loews Regency Hotel.

Bernd Pichler takes over from Nicholas Farina as General Manager of the 1 Hotel Central Park. He was most recently the Hotel Manager at the 1 Hotel Brooklyn Bridge.

Ryan Rauscher has been appointed General Manager of the Ryder Hotel in Charleston, slated to open this spring. He was most recently in Florida at the Playa Largo Resort & Spa as Director of Rooms.

The Naples Grande Beach Resort has appointed Elias Assaly as Area Vice President and General Manager. He is a former Vice President at the Radisson Hotel Group and Vice President of Operations for Rosewood Hotels & Resorts.

Robbie Tawil has joined the Marriott Dallas Uptown as General Manager. Tawil is the former General Manager of the Marriott Conference Center Norman and the Worthington Renaissance.

Eric Bates has been named General Manager of the Wingspread Retreat & Executive Conference Center in Wisconsin. He is the former General Manager of the Eaglewood Resort & Spa.

George Munz has joined the Waldorf Astoria Monarch Beach Resort & Club in Dana Point as General Manager. Most recently, Munz served as General Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Washington, D.C. for five years. He is the former General Manager at the Ritz-Carlton Half Moon Bay and the Ritz-Carlton Phoenix. Following 9 years at the Ritz-Carlton Laguna Niguel in a number of positions.

Todd Shallan has been named Chief Operating Officer, Hospitality Division, for Alterra Mountain Company. The Cornell graduate was most recently with the Deer Valley Resort as President and Chief Operating Officer. Prior to that, he spent 4 years in London as Director of Asset Management for KSL Capital Partners.

Patrick Lacassagne has been appointed General Manager/Innkeeper of the Deer Path Inn. He was most recently the Hotel Manager of The Knickerbocker in New York. Lacassagne is the former Hotel Manager of the Westin Washington, D.C., and Director of Food and Beverage of the Waldorf Astoria Chicago and the Sofitel Washington, D.C.

Kara Lundgren has been appointed General Manager of the Cambria Hotel Fort Lauderdale Beach. She is the former General Manager of the Amara Cay Resort and the Islamorada Resort.

Lukus Grace is back in Atlanta as General Manager of the Thompson Buckhead. He was previously serving as Director of Food and Beverage of the St. Regis Atlanta before taking on his most recent role as Hotel Manager of the Hotel Bel-Air.

Jeff Lee has been named Vice President, Operations, for the Vandelay Hospitality Group. He was most recently with the Dream Hotel Group as Vice President, Food and Beverage.

Eric Quesnel has joined the 124 on Queen Hotel and Spa as General Manager. He was most recently with the Hilton Vogue Hotel Montreal Downtown as General Manager.

Robin Graf has joined the Lake Ozark Lodge of Four Seasons as General Manager. He was most recently the Regional Director of Operations at Provident Hotels & Resorts. Graf also spent many years in hospitality in Hawaii.

Gaurav Dutta has been promoted at the Hazelton Toronto to General Manager. He joined the hotel in 2017 as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Bosther Kusich has joined the Ritz-Carlton Fort Lauderdale as General Manager, taking over from Greg Cook. Kusich is the former Director of Operations of the Ritz-Carlton Bethesda and Director of Food and Beverage of the Ritz-Carlton Phoenix.

The Lodge at St. Edward State Park has named Jenne Oxford General Manager. Most recently, Oxford was Vice President of Operations at Domicile. She is the former General Manager of the Alexis Hotel in Seattle and the Hotel Lumen in Dallas.

Addy Maini has been appointed Chief Operating Officer of Gulph Creek Hotels. He was most recently with the Scholar Hotel Group as Chief Operating Officer. Maini is the former Vice President at Real Estate Capital Management.

Emily Nelson has moved to the Cape Arundel Inn & Resort in Kennebunkport as General Manager. She was previously the Guest Services Supervisor for Auberge Resorts Collection‘s White Barn Inn & Spa, also in Kennebunkport.

Ulisses Marreiros has been appointed General Manager of Belmond’s Copacabana Palace. Since 2013, he had been serving as General Manager of the La Residencia Mallorca.

Ophelia Muradian has been named General Manager of the Hidden Pond and The Tides Beach Club in Kennebunkport. Most recently, Muradian served as the Director of Guest Experiences at The Newbury Boston. She is the former Director of Front Office and Operations at the Godfrey Hotel Boston.

Sean Howe has been promoted to General Manager at the Westin Waltham Boston. He joined the hotel in 2019 as Director of Operations.

Laurent Géroli has been appointed General Manager of The Grady Hotel in Louisville. Most recently, he spent more than two years at the Seelbach Hilton Hotel in Louisville as the Director of Food and Beverage.

The AC Hotel Fort Lauderdale Sawgrass Mills has appointed Michael Lauria General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the Hyatt Place Miami Airport – East and Director of Operations/Hotel Manager of the Bonaventure Resort & Spa.

The Davidson Hospitality Group has appointed Paul Eckert Senior Vice President, Operations. Eckert was most recently with Aimbridge Hospitality where he served as Vice President of Operations for three years.

Heith Pino is the new Hotel Manager at the Drayton Hotel in Savannah. He is the former General Manager of the Hotel Ella and Director of Rooms of the Lake Austin Spa Resort.

Daniel Nour has joined The Bath Club in Miami as Director of Operations. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Nobu Eden Roc Hotel Miami Beach. Nour is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the National Hotel Miami Beach.

Guy Kellner has joined Paris Ceramics America as Managing Partner. He was most recently the Senior Vice President of Culinary for Elior North America. Kellner is the former Chief Operating Officer of the Starr Catering Group.

Tanya Taylor has joined the Radisson Hotel Group as Executive Vice President and General Counsel, Americas. She was most recently the General Counsel, Head of Legal & Business Affairs, for Yonder Media Mobile. Taylor is the former Vice President, Regional General Counsel, North America, at Millennium Hotels & Resorts and Vice President, Regional General Counsel, U.S., Latin America & Caribbean, for nine years at Wyndham Hotel Group.

Michele Evans has been named Vice President of Food and Beverage for Auberge Resorts. She was most recently with Starr Restaurants as Regional Vice President Operations.

David Murphy has joined Fabio Trabocchi Restaurants as Chief Operating Officer. He was previously with Marriott International for over 18 years, most recently as Global Vice President, Food and Beverage Design & Development, Luxury Brands.

Christian Clair has joined the Vinoy Renaissance St. Petersburg Resort & Golf Club as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Executive Chef of Dorado Beach, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve in Puerto Rico.

Tarun Rajain has been appointed Director of Food and Beverage of the Ocean Edge Resort & Golf Club. He is the former Complex Director of Food and Beverage at 24 North and the Gates Resort in Key West.

Kyung Lee has joined the Langham Boston as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage at the Chatham Bars Inn Resort & Spa.

Chris Zimmerly has joined the Inn at Elon as Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently the Assistant Director of Food and Beverage of the Montage Laguna Beach.

Justin Rowland has joined the Palmetto Dunes Oceanfront Resort as Director of Food and Beverage. He is the former Assistant Director of Food and Beverage of the Grand Wailea and the St. Regis Atlanta.

Manuel Rodriguez has been promoted at the Yale Club of New York City to Director of Food and Beverage. He was most recently serving as Director of Outlets and had previously served as Assistant Director of Food and Beverage at the Four Seasons New York.

Robert Mason has been named Director of Beverage and Food at the AC Hotel Orlando Downtown. He was most recently the Director of Food and Beverage for Reunion Resort.

Juan Monterrosa has moved to the W Los Angeles – Westwood as Director of Engineering. He was most recently in the same position at the Mondrian.

Alessia Genova has been promoted with Tihany Design to Managing Partner. She was most recently serving as Senior Interior Designer/ Project Manager.

Amy Jakubowski has joined Leo A. Daly Los Angeles as Director of Interior Design. For the past four years, she had been with Wilson Associates as Managing Director, Los Angeles.

Michelle Archer has joined sbe Lifestyle Hospitality as Vice President Human Resources. She was most recently with the Innovative Dining Group as Director, Human Resources.

Jackie Collens has joined the St. Regis Chicago as Director of Sales and Marketing. She was most recently Asset Manager at Ty Warner Hotels & Resorts for the Four Seasons New York. Collens is the former Director of Sales of the St. Regis New York.

Tiffany Dipasquale has been appointed Executive Director of Sales and Marketing of the Hotel Drover in Fort Worth set to open in this month. Most recently, she served as Area Director of Sales and Marketing for Aimbridge Hospitality overseeing the Sheraton Fort Worth Downtown.

Jesse Suglia has been named Director of Sales and Marketing for the Omni Atlanta Hotel at CNN Center. He was most recently with the Hyatt Regency San Francisco as Director of Sales and Marketing.

James Gregg has joined the Hermitage Hotel as Director of Sales and Marketing. He was most recently the Director of Group Sales at the Marriott Marquis San Francisco. Gregg is the former Director of Sales and Marketing of the Hotel Nikko San Francisco.

Christine Caraccia has been named Director of Sales and Marketing of the AC Hotel Sawgrass Mills. She was most recently the Director of National Accounts at the Fontainebleau Miami Beach.

The Plaza Hotel Pioneer Park in El Paso has named Sabrina Guerrero Director of Sales and Marketing. Guerrero was most recently the Director of Sales, Marketing and Events at the Royal Palms Resort and Spa in Phoenix.

Blake Miller has been named Director of Sales at Auberge Resorts’ Commodore Perry Estate. He is the former Director of Business Travel at the Four Seasons Austin and the InterContinental Stephen F. Austin Hotel.

Andrew Mirsky has joined the Holiday Inn Express and Staybridge Suites Houston Galleria Area as Director of Sales. Mirsky was most recently the Director of Sales and Marketing of the Houston Marriot SugarLand, and previously the Director of Sales and Marketing of the Houston Marriott Energy Corridor.

Greta McCue has been appointed Director of Sales of the Aloft Milwaukee Downtown. She was most recently a Senior Sales Manager at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee.

Philip Pavel has moved to Soho House in West Hollywood as West Coast Head of Membership and Communications. He was most recently with the NoMad Hotel Los Angeles as Managing Director and had previously served in the same capacity at Chateau Marmont.

Stephen Bukoff has been appointed Executive Chef of the Langham Boston. The CIA graduate was previously with Four Seasons Hotels and Resort for 16 years, most recently as Restaurant Chef at EDGE Restaurant + Bar in the Four Seasons Denver.

The Four Seasons New Orleans has named Nicholas Owen Executive Chef. He was most recently in a similar role at the Four Seasons Kyoto.

Luciano Scagliarini is the new Executive Chef at the Edgewater Grill and Pier Café at Seaport Village San Diego. He was most recently in the same role at the Harbor House San Diego.

Davidson Hospitality Group has named Todd Stein Corporate Executive Chef. Stein was most recently serving as Corporate Chef at Quartino Ristorante in Chicago.

Adrian Gerboles has been appointed Executive Chef of Canopy by Hilton Cancun La Isla. Gerbolés was most recently Executive Chef of the Hilton Mexico City.

Josh Elliott has joined the THesis Hotel Miami as Executive Chef. He was most recently the Executive Chef at Toro Boston.

Glenn Jones has been named Executive Chef at The Pinery at Ivanhoe Lakes. He had previously spent seven years with Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts, most recently as Banquet Chef of the Waldorf Astoria & Hilton Bonnet Creek Resorts.

Philip Thompson has been named Executive Chef of the Hilton Aventura Miami. He was most recently the Executive Chef at the Hilton McLean-Tysons Corner.

The Omni Oklahoma City Hotel has named David Gilbert Executive Chef. Gilbert is the former Chef of Hospitality Alliance and Executive Chef of the Hilton Southlake Town Center.

Dan Petermann is now in Jackson as Director of Rooms for Continuum. He was most recently with the Sebastian in Vail as Director of Housekeeping.

EUROPE

Vincent Hoogewijs has joined Les Hotels d’en Haut as Chief Operating Officer, based in Chambery. He was previously with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts for 17 years, most recently as Regional Vice President and General Manager of the Four Seasons London Ten Trinity Square.

Belmond has named Karl Bieberach Head of Global Development. He is the former Chief Development Officer at the Rosewood Hotel Group and Head of European Development for Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide.

Max Cergneux has been named Chief Development Officer at the Louvre Hotels Group in Paris. Most recently, he served as Head of International Corporate Development for Choice Hotels, based out of London.

Nick Yarnell has been named Chief Operating Officer and General Manager of the CostaTerra Golf & Ocean Club in Portugal. He was most recently with Six Senses Hotels Resorts Spas as Regional General Manager Europe and General Manager of the Six Senses Douro Valley. Yarnell is the former opening Hotel Manager of the Four Seasons Marrakech and Director of Rooms of the Four Seasons George V.

Andre Buldini takes over from Nick Yarnell as General Manager of the Six Senses Hotel Douro Valley. Buldini had joined the hotel in 2020 as Hotel Manager. He had previously been with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts for five years, most recently as Director of Rooms of the Four Seasons London at Ten Trinity Square and the Four Seasons Casablanca.

Thomas Moons takes over from Ulisses Marreiros as General Manager of Belmond’s La Residencia Mallorca. Moons had previously served as General Manager of Belmond’s Miraflores Park Lima.

The Maslina Resort in Croatia has named Denis Martin General Manager. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage at the Landmark Hotel Bangkok, the Le Méridien Phuket Beach Resort, and the Bangkok Marriott Riverside.

Alistair Campbell has been appointed General Manager of the Queens Hotel Leeds. He was most recently the General Manager of the Radisson Blu at Manchester Airport.

Nicole Willems has been appointed General Manager of the Designhotel Maastricht. She is the former Regional Director of Revenue Management for the NH Hotel Group.

Stefan Marczinkowski has been appointed General Manager of the IntercityHotel Darmstadt. For the past three years, he had served as General Manager of the IntercityHotel Nuremberg.

Miroslav Forejtek has joined the Heritage Prague as General Manager. He was most recently the General Manager of the Park Inn Hotel Prague.

Katarina Nielsen is now with the Fairmont Windsor Park as Marketing and Communications Director. She is the former Marketing Director at Yumpingo and Senior Marketing Manager of The Savoy London.

The Four Seasons St. Petersburg has named Kato Toshikazu Executive Chef. He was most recently the Executive Sous Chef at the Four Seasons Dubai.

Alejandro Mayer has taken the new role of Executive Chef and Designer of Culinary Experiences at the yet to open The Fellows House Hotel in Cambridge UK. He was most recently the Executive Chef and Culinary Director for 7 years in Monterrey, Mexico at Club Industrial.

ASIA AND THE PACIFIC

Vikram Singh has joined Claridges Hotels & Resorts in Delhi as Chief Executive Officer. He is the former Vice President and General Manager of the Lodhi New Delhi.

Michael Mestraud takes over from Charlie Parker as General Manager of the Four Seasons Oahu at Ko Olina and Vice President Residential Operations – Americas. Mestraud has been with the company for over 22 years, most recently as General Manager at Four Seasons Costa Rica at Peninsula Papagayo. He is the former General Manager of the Four Seasons Resort and Residences Jackson Hole, Resort Manager of the Four Seasons Resort Biltmore Santa Barbara, and Resort Manager of the Four Seasons Bora Bora.

Javier Alba has joined the St. Regis Hong Kong, taking over from Derek Flint. Alba was most recently General Manager of the St. Regis Shanghai. He is the former General Manager of the Renaissance Shanghai Yangtze Hotel.

Reza Jafari has been named Hotel Manager of the Four Seasons Beijing. He was most recently the Resort Manager of the Four Seasons Koh Samui.

Ghislaine Lê has been appointed Hotel Manager of the Kowloon Shangri-La, Hong Kong. She was most recently the Resident Manager of the Shangri-La Barr Al Jissah Resort & Spa in Oman.

Logan Miller has been appointed General Manager of Auberge Resorts’ Nanuku in Fiji. He was most recently the Director of Operations for Auberge Resorts’ Calistoga Ranch.

Sean Flakelar has been appointed General Manager of Kokomo Private Island in Fiji. He was previously with Aman Resorts for nearly 20 years, most recently as Country Manager.

Thomas Donovan returns to Hawaii as Vice President and Managing Director for the Turtle Bay Resort scheduled to reopen in the summer. He was most recently the Managing Director of The Resort at Pelican Hill. Donovan had previously managed the Grand Wailea Maui and the Ritz-Carlton Kapalua.

Stephan Karl has been appointed General Manager of the Andaz Singapore. He was most recently with the Hyatt Regency Nha Trang as General Manager.

Elias Pertoft has been named General Manager of Necker Island. He is the former General Manager of the Soneva Kiri and Managing Director of the Rosewood Luang Prabang.

Harald Fitzek has joined the Kempinski Suzhou as General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the Kempinski Taiyuan and the Kempinski Dalian.

Jean-Philippe Jacopin has been appointed General Manager of the PARKROYAL Pickering Singapore. He was most recently the General Manager of the Orchard Hotel Singapore.

Markus Krebs has joined the Outrigger Reef Waikiki Beach Resort as General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the Monarch Beach Resort and the InterContinental Chicago Magnificent Mile.

Gearoid Lyons has joined the Conrad Bangkok as General Manager. He was most recently the Hotel Manager of the Waldorf Astoria Bangkok.

Jeffrey Yedlin has rejoined the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort as Hotel Manager. He is the former Director of Food and Beverage of the Hilton Hawaiian Village Waikiki Beach Resort and was most recently serving as Regional Director of Food and Beverage for Hilton Hotels in Honolulu.

Lucy Ockleston has been appointed General Manager of the Adina Apartment Hotel West Melbourne. She is the former Hotel Manager of the Travelodge Newcastle and Assistant Hotel Manager of the Travelodge Sydney.

David Tseo has been named Regional Vice President – Openings and Transitions, Asia Pacific – for Hyatt Hotels. He was most recently with the Andaz Xintiandi, Shanghai as General Manager. Tseo is the former General Manager of the Hyatt Regency Shanghai, Chuansha.

Doris Kunze has been appointed Divisional Director of HR, Europe, Middle East & Africa for Belmond. She was most recently serving the company as Global Human Resources Director.

Robert Marusi has been named Chief Commercial Officer at the Turtle Bay Resort in Oahu. He had previously served as Director of Sales and Marketing for The Resort at Pelican Hill and for the Hamilton Princess & Beach Club.

Ben Kim has been appointed to a newly created role of Vice President of Operational Finance at Aqua-Aston Hospitality in Honolulu. He had previously spent four years as the Area Director of Finance for Destination Residences Hawaii. Kim is the former Director of Finance and Accounting of the St. Kitts Marriott Resort and the Royal Beach Casino.

Anil Sharma has joined the JW Marriott Mumbai Juhu as Executive Sous Chef. He was most recently in the same role at the Mondrian Doha.

Annika Sofia Bjorka has been appointed Spa Director of the Clinique La Prairie Aesthetics & Medical Spa at the St. Regis Bangkok. She was most recently in a similar role at the Anantara Kihavah Maldives Villas Spa.

MIDDLE EAST AND AFRICA

Tarek Elsherif has joined G Hotels & Resorts as Managing Director. He was previously with Waldorf Astoria Hotels & Resorts as Cluster Commercial Director, overseeing the Hilton Cairo Heliopolis and the Waldorf Heliopolis.

Mazen Allam has been promoted to Managing Director at the Rosewood Jeddah. He joined the property in 2011 as Director of Sales before moving into operations, most recently as General Manager.

Khaled Al Jamal has been appointed General Manager of the Fairmont Amman. He was most recently the General Manager of the Accra Marriott Hotel.

Spencer Wadama has been named General Manager of the SLS Hotel and Residences, Dubai. He previously was the General Manager of the Jumeirah Royal Saray Bahrain and the Armani Hotel Dubai. Wadama also spent 9 years with Ritz-Carlton.

Stefan Soennichsen has been named Cluster General Manager overseeing both the JW Marriott Absheron and the Ritz-Carlton Baku. He was previously the opening General Manager of the EDITION Abu Dhabi.

Alexander Musch has joined the Pullman Dubai Downtown as General Manager. He is the former General Manager of the Mövenpick Hotel Jumeirah Lakes Tower and Hotel Manager of the Hilton Jumeirah The Walk.

Mohamed Abou Doh has joined the Four Seasons Alexandria at San Stefano as Director of Marketing. He was most recently with the Four Seasons Montreal as Director of Marketing and is the former Director of Sales and Marketing of the Four Seasons Tunis.

Sarah Rice is now in Dubai as Director of Sales of the Jumeirah Zabeel Saray. She was most recently with the Shangri-La Villingili Maldives as Director of Sales and Marketing.

Hyunggyu Kim has been named Executive Chef of the Mandarin Oriental Doha. He was most recently with the Four Seasons Bahrain Bay as Executive Chef. Kim is the former Executive Chef of the W Doha.

Mary Bowens has been appointed Director of Rooms at the Four Seasons Cairo at Nile Plaza. She has been with Four Seasons Hotels and Resorts for over 18 years, most recently as Corporate Director of Housekeeping.
