Are in-house coffee bars the new office perk?
Once the primary domain of the tech sector, the in-house coffee bar is going mainstream in offices around the world. Following the lead of companies like Yelp, Twitter and Google, a growing number of companies from professional services firms like JLL to cybersecurity companies like Legitscript and health insurance group Medicare have their own, full-scale cafes with baristas serving gourmet lattes and cold-brewed coffee to their employees.

Wyndham Worldwide announced plans to spin off the company's hotel business resulting in two separate, publicly traded companies and the Company will also explore strategic alternatives for its European rental brands.
Deutsche Hospitality launches a comprehensive programme for new hotels.
The main emphasis is on the IntercityHotel and Jaz in the City brands, and the starting point will be four IntercityHotels in Heidelberg, Wiesbaden, Bielefeld and Graz with a total of around 800 rooms that will be created within the direct proximity of the respective main railway stations in these cities.

The Transportation Security Administration (TSA) announced the implementation of stronger screening procedures for carry-on items that require travelers to place all electronics larger than a cell phone in bins for X-ray screening in standard lanes.
