The hotel price comparison website continues its growth in Asia by partnering with Zodio, a Thai-based iPhone search app that provides tips and reviews on a wide variety of businesses ranging from nightclubs to spas to eateries.

Through this alliance Zodio is now able to display hotel price comparison, which is powered by HotelsCombined;s aggregation platform. When its users search for hotels, browse for ratings or read reviews they can also check rates and availability directly within the app.

All hotel pages on Zodio will show a "Book Now" button, which allows users to complete their booking with major travel websites including Expedia, Hotels.com, Venere, Laterooms and EasyToBook. This feature is currently available only in the iPhone app, with integration into other platforms in the future.

HotelsCombined's latest partnership follows its recent initiatives throughout South East Asia, which include providing the site in Vietnamese, Malay, Thai and Indonesian, as well as other collaborations with regional suppliers and affiliates.

Paul Riampanich, HotelsCombined's marketing manager for Thailand, said the partnership with Zodio brought the convenience of hotel price comparison to a new sector of South East Asian consumers. "Thanks to this integration, Zodio users will now be able to quickly search and compare accommodation rates while on-the-go, ultimately saving both time and money."

Added Jai Govindani, founder and CEO of Zodio, "We see this form of integration and lead-generation to be the best of both worlds - engaging our users and providing them with additional value while monetizing our platform. This integration with HotelsCombined paves the way for our future efforts."

Zodio, which is a free download in Apple App Store, is currently live in Thailand, the Philippines and Indonesia. It is expected to launch in Malaysia and India within the second half of this year.
