Launched in January of 2010, the Autograph Collection is an evolving group of exceptional independent luxury hotels, each hand-selected for their originality, character and uncommon details.

To date, the Autograph Collection portfolio includes 31 properties with 2,896 rooms in the United States, Europe, the Caribbean and South America and expects to have 55 hotels open by end of 2012.

"Autograph Collection has accumulated an impressive number of striking, high personality hotels since its inception in 2010, and we continue to see tremendous growth potential for the collection going forward", said Kip Vreeland, vice president of Autograph Collection. "We expect to have 55 hotels open by the end of the year, with a number of exciting prospects in negotiation."

"Autograph Collection has accumulated an impressive number of striking, high personality hotels since its inception in 2010, and we continue to see tremendous growth potential for the brand going forward", said Kip Vreeland, vice president of Autograph Collection. "The appetite for iconic boutique hotels in independent, discerning travelers shows no sign of diminishing, and we will continue to expand our portfolio with only the most unique and distinctive properties. We expect to have 55 hotels open by the end of the year, with a number of exciting prospects in negotiation." Europe's most beautiful cities are home to 9 of the 31 Autograph Collection hotels. There are currently five in Spain, two in Italy, and one each in Hungary and the Czech Republic. Amongst them are Autograph Collection's first ski resort, the charming Baqueira Ski Resort in Spain; the chic and stylish Boscolo Palace Roma in Italy; and the majestic, art-filled Boscolo Prague Hotel in the Czech Republic.

"We are very excited about the huge potential for Autograph Collection throughout Europe in particular, with its many iconic and historic hotels," said Tim Walton, vice president of International Development. "We are actively exploring opportunities to expand our portfolio in the United Kingdom currently, and are poised to continue expanding the collection in a number of European cities." Walton added, "As Autograph Collection is sponsoring the Boutique Hotel Summit for the first time this year, we are privileged to be part of this growing community of boutique hoteliers."
