Spectacular Beach Resort is the first Crowne Plaza to Open in Los Cabos Area

InterContinental Hotels Group today announced the opening of its latest resort property overlooking the Sea of Cortez in Los Cabos, Mexico.

The 333-room Crowne Plaza-Los Cabos Beach Resort offers a tropical atmosphere with contemporary Mexican décor throughout the guestrooms and lobby. The $40 million property boasts five sparkling pools, two lighted tennis courts, a racquetball court, outdoor Jacuzzi, basketball court and beach volleyball. Bicycles are free of charge to guests.

The hotel has five dining facilities. The restaurant's upscale dining menu at Las Jicamas offers authentic Mexican cuisine, while regional Italian cuisine is served for dinner at La Gondola. Guests can also enjoy casual beachfront dining at Las Olas for breakfast and lunch as well as international buffets at Albatross. La Isla Snack Bar is located poolside on the property, serving snacks and light lunch. Cielito Lindo Sky Bar overlooks a spectacular view of the Sea of Cortez, the Estuary and San Jose del Cabo.

Guest room amenities include: ceiling fans, voice mail, coffee maker, hair dryer, in-room safe, make-up mirror, data ports, iron and ironing board and spacious balconies. Fifteen guestrooms are suites, including a presidential suite equipped with a Jacuzzi tub and a spacious, separate living room area. The Crowne Plaza-Los Cabos Beach Resort also offers a 24-hour reception desk, express checkout, fitness center, kids club, junior's club, concierge, gift shop, business center, valet parking, complimentary newspaper, 24-hour room service, complimentary parking and massage services upon request.

With 18,000-sq. ft. of meeting space, the Crowne Plaza-Los Cabos Beach Resort provides the perfect venue for business meetings, incentive groups and social functions.

The Crowne Plaza-Los Cabos Beach Resort is owned by Hola Hotels & Resorts and managed by Promociones Turisticas Azteca, S.A. de C.V., under a license agreement with a company in the InterContinental Hotels Group. The hotel was formerly the Faro del Cabo.
