Following the recent Russian-American spy scandal, go undercover, join the resistance, get clandestine and infiltrate these top spy locations.

International Spy Museum, Washington DC

The International Spy Museum is the first and only public museum in the US solely dedicated to espionage and features the largest collection of international spy-related artefacts ever placed on public display.

Apparently now only open via specially arranged tours, it offers a chance to learn about Russian-made spying gadgets, Cold War missions, and the history, propaganda and paraphernalia of the Soviet intelligence services.

Cold War Museum, Virginia, USA

This museum contains records of the people, places and events of the Cold War and aims to educate future generations about the fears, divisions and dangers that it fostered.

Exhibiting artefacts and memorabilia associated with various Cold War related events and activities ranging from Winston Churchill's Fulton, Missouri speech, to the fall of the Berlin Wall and the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Bletchley Park, UK

Also known as Station X, this estate was the top secret base of the British code breakers during WW2.

Britain's finest mathematical brains went to work each day trying to break ciphers generated by German Enigma machines and their success is credited with shortening the war by two years. Now a museum, you can learn about tales of spies and strategic deception and even see a real life Enigma machine.
