Hilton opens first Waldorf Astoria in Asia Pacific.

Hilton has announced the opening of its first Waldorf Astoria Collection property, The Beach Hotel, located in the northern part of the Maldives.

The Beach Hotel occupies a total land area of 35 acres and features 83 Maldivian-style pool villas, seven food and beverage outlets and a signature spa.

The hotel is owned by the Maldives' Sun Hotels and Resorts Private Limited.
