According to the Guangzhou Asian Games Organising Committee (GAGOC), Guangzhou has plans to spend approximately US$352 million to refurbish 61 hotels for the 16th Asian Games, to be held in 2010 in the capital of Guangdong Province, China.

The GAGOC has established official room rates for these selected hotels, which will serve to provide accommodation for the event, and these hotels include Guangzhou Baiyun Hotel and Garden Hotel Guangzhou.
