No Legionnaires' bacteria traces were found at the Westin Mina Seyahi Dubai, which was concluded after a series of in-depth laboratory tests were conducted.
Recently three guests became ill with the disease while staying at the hotel.
The Dubai official, Hussein Nasser Lootah, said 24 water samples from the hotel complex – the Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort & Marina – proved "beyond doubt" that none of the guests contracted "the disease in Dubai". It was not explained how the tests were conclusive.
The hotel operator earlier confirmed that the three guests who fell ill included 69-year-old Mr Frindall who died on Friday after returning to England.
