Gordon Ramsay has announce that maze, one of London's most popular and successful restaurant concepts, will be opening in Melbourne, Australia.

Set within Crown's new five-star, third hotel tower the restaurant is due to open in February 2010.

Crown's Chief Executive Officer Mr David Courtney, who made the announcement, said: "Gordon Ramsay and maze fit extremely well within the positioning of our new five star hotel. This continues our strategy of bringing some of the best dining experiences to Crown and Melbourne."

Gordon said: "This is our first step in bringing the Gordon Ramsay brand to Australia and after having seen Crown's Melbourne operation feel that this is an exciting and challenging opportunity".
