Focusing in on the "three R" theory: reduce, reuse, and recycle, based in Hyderabad, it's the first of it's kind.

Weston Solutions, Inc. announced today that its subsidiary Weston Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd. will manage India's first LEED® Platinum targeted ecotourism project at Hyderabad, in the southern state of Andhra Pradesh for Delara Tourism Corporation Limited (DTCL), a Group Company of NCS.

WESTON will provide an integrated approach to combine construction management and green development in planning, engineering, and construction of the Park. WESTON will implement green solutions throughout toward Platinum LEED certification. Construction will begin in 2009 with completion set for 2010.

Mr. N. Nageswara Rao, Director for DTCL and Managing Director of NCS, commented, "Our vision is to develop Delara Ecotourism Project as the landmark LEED Platinum Ecotourism development that would place Hyderabad on the global ecotourism map; attracting visitors nationally and internationally.

We trust WESTON to turn our vision into reality. They have a long history of solving complex problems for their clients in a sustainable manner that also drives economic growth and revitalization. We look forward to working together to make a difference in Andhra Pradesh."

"This project supports the government's commitment to conserving the environment, while providing educational and recreational opportunities for the local population," commented Patrick G. McCann, WESTON President and CEO. "Our Hyderabad professionals will draw upon our company's global network of redevelopment, construction, and LEED-certified experts. Together they will provide an integrated, sustainable approach with minimal impact on the environment. We look to this project as a successful example of sustainable development under a Public Private Partnership (PPP) model and one the local community will enjoy for many years to come."

"We are very excited to be involved in this green development edutainment project and will demonstrate our expertise in Smart and Sustainable Facilities and Infrastructure through this project," said Ram Pratti, President and CEO, Weston Solutions (India) Pvt. Ltd. "It is the first tourism project of its kind in India where only eco-friendly components are being used in its construction."

Located within the boundaries of Hyderabad—just 2 kilometers away from Hitech City, Madhapur—the 128-acre park will feature a botanical garden, a research, development, and training facility, and other visitor amenities including food courts, tourist accommodations, and souvenir shops.
