The 92-room new-build property recently opened in the Los Angeles suburb of Ontario.

The Hotel Indigo Ontario Rancho Cucamonga, the first boutique hotel in Ontario, is located off Interstate Highway 10, just one mile from the LA/Ontario International Airport.

The hotel is near several major corporate headquarters, including 3M, Boeing, Mercedes and BMW; retail and restaurant space; and Ontario Mills Mall. Guests are within driving distance to local wineries, Auto Club Speedway and the world-famous Disneyland Resort.

"We're excited to bring the first Hotel Indigo to the state," said Jim Anhut, senior vice president, Franchise Development, the Americas, IHG. "There are many locations in California with the combination of business and leisure attractions that we consider to be the ideal market for Hotel Indigo, so look for more developments in the future."

The Hotel Indigo Ontario is lushly landscaped, featuring a waterfall and pond in the gardens situated at the entrance to the property. Guestroom murals feature local California images, including Venice Beach ocean scenes, redwood trees, the cactus garden at the Getty Center in Los Angeles, the Bigsby Bridge in Big Sur, San Ignacio Lagoon in Baja and palm trees in the San Jacinto Mountains.  A striking chandelier with a unique take on the nautilus shell hangs in the hotel lobby.

The soul of the brand's retail-inspired concept is renewal – thoughtful changes that are made throughout the year to keep the hotel fresh, similar to the way retailers change their window displays. The renewal concept provides even the most frequent guest a unique experience with every stay.

The hotel features renewable elements such as vivid nature-inspired murals, area rugs, plush duvets and slip covers that will change periodically. Public spaces will be transformed seasonally through changing artwork, music, flora and murals.

The Hotel Indigo features signature design elements including oversized lobby chairs, which create a personal work or dining space within the public areas of the hotel; cozy, airy and inviting guestrooms with plush bedding, hardwood-style flooring and spa-inspired showers; and a Phitness studio with cardio equipment and free weights.

The hotel also offers Phi, an on-site casual gourmet restaurant; a 24-hour business center; two meeting rooms for business functions or special events; a complimentary airport shuttle; and wireless high-speed Internet access throughout the hotel.
