To escape from rising gas prices this summer, this weekend getaway package aims to satisfy the guest, their car and their wallet! 

Over 50 Marriott hotels in the downtown Washington, DC and in the nearby suburbs in Virginia and Maryland are offering the Cars Eat Free! package.

Available now through September 1, 2008, Cars Eat Free, is an ideal package for those looking for a weekend excursion without paying more at the pump.  This summer savings package includes deluxe accommodations for two and a $25 gas card from Chevron.

The Cars Eat Free! Package rates are per room, exclude tax, gratuities and is available Thursday through Sunday. Two night stay minimum is required to qualify.  Participating brands include JW Marriott, Marriott, Renaissance, Courtyard, Residence Inn, and Spring Hill Suites.
