Mystic/Groton: New accommodation concept.

Offering a new kind of accommodation for business and leisure travelers, Hilton Garden Inn, the award-winning mid-priced brand, is pleased to announce the opening of the 128-room Hilton Garden Inn Mystic/Groton in Groton, Conn., representing another addition to the brand's growing portfolio of more than 350 Hilton Garden Inn locations across North America and Europe.

The Hilton Garden Inn Mystic/Groton is operated by Groton Hospitality, LLC under a license agreement with a subsidiary of Hilton Hotels Corporation.

"Our brand's signature amenities will complement the needs of both business and leisure travelers looking for quality accommodations at an affordable price."

The four-story Hilton Garden Inn Mystic/Groton features 124 guestrooms and four suites offering the Garden Sleep SystemTM bed which allows guests to adjust the firmness and softness of the bed; ergonomic Mirra chair by Herman Miller; high definition flat screen television; complimentary wired and WiFi Internet access in all guestrooms and public space and remote printing to the hotel's complimentary 24-hour business center.

The hotel welcomes guests with a glass-walled pavilion entrance offering a light, bright and airy ambiance; the Pavilion Pantry mini mart with a selection of refrigerated, frozen and microwaveable packaged items, and sundries; the Great American Grill restaurant, offering freshly prepared breakfast and dinner; room service dinner hours; an outdoor patio; a comfortable lounge area featuring a fireplace and large screen television; three meeting rooms offering 1,741 square-feet of flexible meeting space; and an onsite guest laundry facility.

Guest room accommodations and features include: the Garden Sleep SystemTM bed; high definition flat screen television; clock that allows guests to play their portable CD or MP3 player; a "hospitality center" that features a mini fridge, microwave oven and coffee maker; a sitting area with an easy chair and ottoman; a hairdryer; and an iron and ironing board. In-room entertainment and information services include video-on-demand movies, video games and interactive Hilton Garden Inn guest services.

Business-oriented features of the guest rooms include: ergonomic Mirra® chair by Herman Miller; a spacious and clutter-free work desk; electrical outlets at desk height; adjustable lighting and two speaker telephones equipped with data ports and voice mail.

Recreational facilities consist of a workout facility with state-of-the-art cardiovascular and strength training equipment, Stay Fit Kits available for complimentary check-out from the front desk, indoor swimming pool and whirlpool.
