Indonesia, Cambodia and Vietnam attend Trump's Board of Peace - and Vietnam confirms Boeing aircraft orders of 40 B787-9s for Sun PhuQuoc Airways, 50 737-8s for Vietnam Airlines.

Meanwhile, Indonesia reassures that its 50 aircraft that were part of the tariffs deal are still in the picture - but provides no more details. How the new 15% tariffs will impact the region is still unclear...

Tourism waste management in focus, as Derawan Island in East Kalimantan struggles to handle its waste that is 2X that of the national average; Prabowo launches the ASRI (secure, healthy, clean, beautiful) initiative encouraging clean up operations; and a UNDP study shows that tourists in Da Nang generate 1.7 times more plastic waste than local residents, risking 1.7 trillion VND damage, equivalent to 3% of tourism revenue.

Region experiences significant Lunar New Year movements, with Hanoi's Tan Son Nhat International Airport seeing its highest number of passengers in over a decade; Booking.com data shows that Singapore is the second most-searched destination for Chinese travellers after Paris; and Trip.com reports arrivals to Vietnam are +60% YoY.
