Boosted by the Spanish Super Cup 2025, Jeddah’s hotel industry posted its highest January occupancy level since 2015.
January 2025 (year-over-year % change):
- Occupancy: 70.5% (+15.0%)
- Average daily rate (ADR): SAR630.94 (+4.8%)
- Revenue per available room (RevPAR): SAR444.84 (+20.6%)
Additionally, the market recorded its highest January ADR and RevPAR since 2019 and 2016, respectively.
Performance peaked during the Spanish Super Cup final match between Barcelona and Real Madrid on Sunday, 12 January: occupancy (88.4%), ADR (SAR735.50) and RevPAR (SAR650.10).
Each Spanish Super Cup match night produced occupancy above 80%. Overall for January, Jeddah’s occupancy levels came above the 60% mark in all but five nights.
