New Year’s celebrations and multiple events pushed Paris hotel average daily rate (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR) to all-time highs for January.
January 2025 (year-over-year % change):
- Occupancy: 66.6% (+6.5%)
- ADR: EUR355.96 (+6.3%)
- RevPAR: EUR237.03 (+13.3%)
Paris hosted several events later in the month, including Pharmapack (22-23 January), IMCAS World Congress (30 January-1 February), and two Fashion Weeks (Menswear on 21-26 January and Haute Couture on 27-30 January).
The second night of the Menswear Paris Fashion Week overlapped with the first night of Pharmapack and pushed the market’s occupancy to a high of 84.7% on Wednesday, 22 January. ADR was above EUR400 on three straight nights from 24-26 January.
ADR and RevPAR peaked on New Year’s Day at EUR469.47 and EUR373.37, respectively.
Brisbane hotels posted record-high January room rate
Brisbane’s hotel industry posted its highest January average daily rate (ADR) and revenue per available room (RevPAR) on record, according to preliminary data from CoStar. CoStar is a leading global provider of commercial real estate data, analytics and news.
January 2025 (year-over-year % change):
- Occupancy: 68.2% (+2.9%)
- ADR: AUD225.92 (+10.1%)
- RevPAR: AUD154.01 (+13.2%)
Additionally, the market’s occupancy was the highest for January since 2007 (69.6%).
Performance spiked on the nights of Luke Combs’ “Down Under” concerts held at Suncorp Stadium on 24-25 January. Levels peaked across the metrics that Saturday—occupancy (85.4%), ADR (AUD350.98), RevPAR (AUD299.87)—which overlapped with a long holiday weekend for Australia Day.
Brisbane’s occupancy came in above the 60% mark in all but five days during January.
