The hotel company receives the Diversity Leading Company seal awarded by Equipos & Talento in recognition of its various initiatives for promoting diversity and inclusion within the company.

Iberostar Group, an international benchmark thanks to its responsible tourism model, has received the Diversity Leading Company seal awarded by the Human Resources portal Equipos & Talento in recognition of the company’s ongoing efforts to promote diversity and inclusion within its organisation, making it the first hotel company to receive this award.

The seal is a milestone in its commitment to diversity and inclusion, something to which Iberostar has been committed since its inception through various initiatives. The organisation guarantees unbiased talent recruitment and promotion processes, encouraging the attraction of people from diverse backgrounds and cultures. Furthermore, all job vacancies published by the Iberostar Group use inclusive language, thus supporting equal opportunities for all individuals.

Moreover, Iberostar has implemented specific protocols to identify internal talent, always respecting the criteria of diversity, equity and inclusion. This is reflected in a benefits policy that is continuously adapted to meet the needs of all individuals and groups within the organisation. In addition, it is committed to diversity in its staff worldwide, to its employees’ work-life balance, to reducing the gender pay gap and to building inclusive corporate development plans.

'This initiative is just a sample of the solid pillars on which the Iberostar Group has been built since its inception, so the seal is an opportunity to give visibility to our efforts in diversity and a push to continue working to create a positive environment for people, who have always been our driving force to get to where we are now' - Soraya Romero, Iberostar Group's Global Director of Internal Communication & Engagement

This recognition sets the Iberostar employer brand apart, as it is committed to developing these and new projects that reinforce diversity, training and the well-being of people in the hotel sector, promoting an environment where people work in a responsible and equitable way.
