Located in the cultural neighbourhood of Balestier, the new hotel introduces vibrant and flexible spaces for travellers to connect with the culture and happenings in Singapore.
Aloft Singapore Novena is also the first music-inspired hotel in Singapore.
Some highlights:
Aloft’s Different-by-Design concept: Aloft Singapore Novena adopts a “different by design” philosophy that champions personality and passion for music:
- A magnificent 2.5 metres crescendo sculpture inspired by musical notes flanked the centrepiece of the hotel. Guests will be enthralled with the light visual ceiling display statement piece that measures up to the size of a 4-seater saloon car upon entering the hotel.
- Hotel’s lobby boasts electronic art pieces from award-winning renowned artists Refik Anadol and Jonathan Monaghan who have debuted works at Art Basel Hong Kong
- A seamless transition of work and play – a Splash Pool area and the brand’s signature W XYZ® bar at the lobby that fosters cross-pollination of business and leisure activities
The rooms: The property holds the world’s biggest inventory of Aloft Hotel rooms, with 781 rooms and four suites, each ranging from 18 sqm to 46 sqm, spanning across two towers, peppered with design that pays homage to the Balestier and Novena districts of early Singapore
New Dining Concepts: Yuè, the hotel’s modern Chinese restaurant that serves up a contemporary twist of traditional Chinese fare, and 21 on Rajah, a halal-certified buffet restaurant that offers innovative Mediterranean and Asian buffet cuisine. The W XYZ® bar is the social hub of the hotel and serves invigorating cocktails and light bites, and the grab-and-go option at Re:fuel by Aloft keeps food available for 24/7.
In conjunction with the opening of Aloft Singapore Novena, the music-centric hotel extended its Aloft spirit beyond its walls by initiating a series of partnerships with local buskers. This initiative took place over the F1 weekend, with another session scheduled for September 24th at Ion, Wisma Atria, and 313 Somerset. During the sessions, shoppers will stand a chance to redeem vouchers for use at the new property.
